"(f/n), what are you doing in my backyard?" Akaashi asked, standing on his back porch with his arms crossed, still in his pajamas.
"Well nice to see you too Mr. Grumpy pants." You said, clipping the end of the hammock onto the pole.
"It's five o'clock in the morning." He replied, his hair was messier than usual, but his usual stoic expression rested on his face.
" I know. That's why I brought you a muffin and some hot chocolate silly." You pointed to the table off to the side of the porch, with two patio chairs sitting beside it.
You were right, there sitting on the table was a blueberry muffin with hot chocolate in a to go cup.
He walked over, taking the muffin and nibbling on a piece of it, before walking down the steps to inspect what you were doing.
In front of the massive cherry tree in his backyard stood a huge outdoor movie screen, hanging from two metal poles. Then in front of that was a large hammock with a small table sitting next to it.
"What is this. And why is it in my backyard?" He asked, swallowing a bite of his muffin.
"Well, my grandma gave me some of my old stuff back from before when we moved to America. My dad helped me make this for my mom, so we could watch family movies outside. And then she gave me her hammock, since she sees no use of it, she told me to go grab it last night so she could make room for her new garden."
"But your grandma lives in Miyagi."
"I know, I left last night at 10 to pick it up."
"With what car?"
"The one my mom gave me yesterday afternoon, I'm surprised you didn't notice."
"I got back night from Bokuto-san's house last night at 11. When did your mother think it was a good idea to give you a car and let you drive to Miyagi?"
"Why so late? Actually it's a truck, and it's so I can visit my grandmother or her in the city whenever I want." You replied, turning around to walk up the porch steps, leaving Akaashi with one hand in his sweatpants and the other holding his muffin.
"He needed tutoring for Math. A lot of tutoring."
"Figures, he failed his past two tests, you know for being a semi-genius on the court, you'd figure he'd be somewhat smart in his studies." You picked up the hot chocolate off the table, walking down the stairs back to him.
"I thought you said that hot chocolate was for me." He said, watching as you sipped from the cup.
"Well, it was technically. But I felt bad if I were to possibly wake you up at five in the morning with just a muffin. So I got you a drink too. Although, you don't like hot chocolate in the mornings."
"So you got it so you could drink it?"
"Well, do you want it?"
"Well, no."
"I thought so." You replied with a smile, sitting down on the hammock and looking up at him. Akaashi shook his head, joining you on the hammock.
"Why isn't this in your backyard?" He asked, taking another bite of his half-finished muffin.
"You see, my mom's adding a pond in my backyard, so I figured why not put it in yours, I basically live here anyways."
He sighed, gulping down his bite. "Sadly. Did you even ask if it was okay?"
"Well, I knew you'd say no, so I asked the head of your household, your mother was beyond excited."
"And you thought it was a good idea to wake me up this early in the morning?" He sighed, what was he going to do with you? It was like he was dating a child.
