To: Baby Owl

Hey want to come over and cook with me?

From: Baby Owl

That sounds like an awful idea.

To: Baby Owl

Fine, I guess I'll cook in my house alone, with my gas-lit stove and extremely flammable house.

From: Baby Owl

You won't.

To: Baby Owl

Don't be surprised if you hear sirens.

From: Baby Owl

Don't touch any of the controls in the kitchen, I'm coming over.

To: Baby Owl

I burnt the side of my hand on the stove trying to shoo Storm away. Bring burn cream while you're at it.

From:Baby Owl

I told you not to touch anything.

To: Baby Owl

I didn't, the stove was already on when I first texted to you. And the stove touched me first thank you very much.

From: Baby Owl

Turn off the stove, I'm getting the cream right now.

To: Baby Owl

I thought you told me not to touch anything.

From: Baby Owl

(f/n), just ...don't touch anything else.

To: Baby Owl

You're such a mother sometimes.

You sat on the kitchen sink, rinsing your hand underneath the cold water to help soothe your aching burn, while the other tried ridding your shorts of the charred fabric. Why Storm wanted that piece of meat so badly was beyond you, it's not like he was a carnivore or anything.

"Whoever thought it was a good idea for you to live alone in this house." Akaashi said, placing his precious little first aid kit on the counter top.

"Obviously the same person who thought it was a good idea to bring me into this world." You replied, before hopping off the counter.

Your shirt flew up when you dropped to the floor, revealing you in nothing but your underwear and an oversized shirt.

"Why are you wearing no pants?" Akaashi asked, raising one eyebrow at you as he took out the burn cream. It's not like he didn't mind the sight at all, he actually enjoyed it so much that the tips of his ears were turning red because of it.

"Well." You began, stepping in front of the sink, hiding the black burnt mess that was behind you. "(f/n), why does it smell like something was ...burnt?" He asked, stepping towards you, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Cause I burnt my hand of course." You replied, cringing as you realized how awful of a lie that was.

Akaashi quickly put his lips on yours, which you surprised you, but it did the trick of moving you away from the sink. He made sure his back was now facing the kitchen sink, while you were facing away from it.
