Phil's POV
I really want to tell Dan how I feel but I overthink everything. I try and do things to show him that I love him, but not too big as he will become suspicious and ask questions and I'm not good with questions.
I normally make pancakes for Dan so I decide to do shapes for him this morning. In amongst the shapes there is a heart. As I am putting the last pancake one the frying pan, I hear Dan.
Dan's POV
I wake up and the smell I look forward to everyday is spreading through our apartment, Phil's pancakes. He makes them for me every day. Sometimes shapes, I like those ones.
I get dressed before I head out to breakfast. I put on my usual skinny jeans and a black shirt. Phil has set the table all nice this morning. Cutlery placed out and has done shapes Yay.
"Morning" I yawn
"Morning Dan, sleep well?" Phil asked putting a plate down on the table
"Yeah I guess, these ones for me?" I ask sitting down
"Of course, you know I have cereal "Phil said walking around the room to find a bowl
I look through the shapes he has done but there's one that catches my eye is a heart. A heart? Maybe it was just a coincidence or Phil likes me as well... hahaha nah it's probably the first one. Phil walked in with his usual cereal and sat down
"Hey um Phil... why did you do a heart pancake?" I ask
Phil's POV
Oh no I have over done it, not the questions, what do I say
"ahhh umm when I was pouring the mixture in it was all weird and made a heart.." I panicked
Dan looked at me weird and just said "ahhh okay?" and just continued to eat
"It was completely unintentional I swear?" I added in quickly and ran into the lounge to eat
Oh no what have I done, he is now very suspicious of me...
*Time Skip to later that day still Phil's POV*
I have been avoiding contact with dan all day and I feel terrible. I will hear him talking to himself, I want to be watching anime with him but I was too afraid that I will make things awkward but I built up the courage to go out there...
"Hey Dan" I say quietly
"Look what the cat dragged in. Why you haven't been out here all day?" Dan asked
"That doesn't matter at the moment" I raised my voice
"Sorry, are you okay" Dan asked
"I'm fine but can we talk?" I sighed
