Chapter 17- This is working

Phil's POV

I am back in London now it has been about 4 months since I came back and Dan I have been dating again, it's been going really well. We haven't changed ourselves for each other and we haven't fought well... maybe... okay we have fought but that is only caused but me... stealing his cereal again. Today we are having Liv over with her new husband over, yes it might seem a little quick with her already having a husband but it turns out they have known each other for a while and actually dated in high school and only broke up due to moving places and schools. I actually found out that Liv did like Dan but she didn't like Dan being sad and all so she gave him up for his happiness but she is now happy with Shawn and now own her dream bakery.

I hear someone knocking on the door, I call out to Dan who is in the lounge tidying my stuff because you know me and my sock and shoe problem... what a nice boyfriend . Dan yells back at me saying for me to open the door. So I open it to only see Liv and Shawn arguing

"Shawn we are not going to move to a SMALLER place" She yells "What part of we need a BIGGER place don't you und-" Liv then realises I have opened the door and froze in her tracks

"Haha Hi" I say with an awkward wave

"Ho-how long have you been there for" Liv panics with a little grin

"Ahh not long only just opened the door" I lie and open the door a bit more to let the couple in

I walk them into the lounge where Dan is lying on his back in exhaustion

"Phil... Next time you clean up your own socks actually you know what don't leave around or I will shove them down your throat" Dan threatens but I know it is only a joke so I just giggle a little.

Liv's POV

This was Shawn's first time in Dan and Phil's apartment so he was a little awkward but the reason why we actually wanted to plan this day is that Shawn and I have a little something to tell the pair.

Shawn and I sit on their couch holding each other's hands as we are extremely nervous.

"So Shawn and I actually organised this day for a reason" Shawn smiled at the two boys and then at me

Phil squealed "Ooo Story time" and sit down acting like a tiny child.

Dan walks over to Phil and start running his hands through Phil's hair just admiring him, they are so adorable together and I can tell Dan is much happier and really does love Phil by just the small looks and actions he does towards Phil.

"Why are you so childish" Dan laughs but Phil sticks out his bottom lip in pout "Phil don't worry about it, I think it is adorable just like all of your flaws" Dan giggles kissing the top of Phil's head "anyway what is it you want to tell us Shawn?"

I look a Shawn for his consent for me to tell them and he nods in reply then wraps his arms around me holding me tight. "So you know Shawn and I have been married for only about 2 months I know so short" I laugh and they both nod edging me to go on "Well... Shawn and I are going to have a kid!" I blurt out in a hurry not able to keep it in any longer.

Both Dan and Phil's faces lit up with excitement. Phil starts to become restless and bobbing up and down. Dan just stares at Phil laughing at his weirdness.

"When is it due?!" Phil finally says

I just laugh "It's due in July sometime" Shawn says for me who is smiling so brightly. I am just so glad people are happy for Shawn and I as I was maybe just a tiny bit worried

Dan's POV

Wow Liv is having a kid, that's the best news I have heard all day. Phil and Liv are now talking about baby names with Shawn, Phil still acting like a child. I decide to stay out of this conversation to think for a bit. I grab out my phone and start to scroll through Tumblr until we decide to do something.

"Bear you okay?" Phil asks ruffling my hair, dam that nickname again

"Yes I am fine Lion" I tease out the nickname Phil has "I am just scrolling through Tumblr" I answer getting up and giving Phil a quick kiss "Anyone want anything while I am up" No one replied really

"No but I would like to say that I think it is so cute that you guys have nicknames for each other" Liv puts in

Phil and I just blush. "Phil I am going to ruin your innocence with... Card against humanity" I say with an evil laugh

"Awww but I like my innocence" Phil playfully pouted "you can take it away from me" he then joked

"Fine we will take all the dirty cards out" I say

*Time Skip*

Dan's POV

We have just finished playing cards against humanity and surprising Shawn won. Everyone is now in their own little conversation and I am once again caught up in my thoughts. I grab out my phone and text Liv even though we are in the same room.

D: Liv...

I look up to her and gesture her to look at her phone.

L: Yeh what's up

D: I think I am ready...

L: To do what...?

D: Take a new step in life

I think Liv now knows what I am talking about as I look up to see her panicking and goes white. She starts to mouth;

'I didn't mean now!'

'You can't you have nothing'

I text her saying 'if I don't do it now I will never do it' I see her sigh and nod her head in defeat.

"Excuse me for a second" I say to Phil and Shawn

"Yeah sure" Phil says smiling and goes back to talking to Shawn

Shit what the fuck am I going to do now, how the hell am I going to do this. I start to panic looking around finding something that will do. I open the cupboard and see the box of Froot Loops. I quickly grab out a blue one and walk back into the lounge with the cereal in my hand

I grab phil's hand and stand him up, he looks a little confused I see Liv out of the corner of my eye trying not to scream...

"D-Dan what a-are you d-oing" Phil asks with a shaking voice

"Shhh" I quiet him with my finger over his mouth "Phil do you love me more than you love cereal?" I ask

Phil's face grows pale in shock "Ah um yeah of course I do Dan, why do you ask?" he giggles

"Good because... Philip Michael Lester" I kneel down on one knee and pull out the Froot Loop. Phil gasps and covers his mouth I can see his eyes start to develop tears "Will you do the honour of spending the rest of your life with me... Will you marry me?
