Authors Note: OH MY GAWD 100 READS! I know it's not that many compared to others but I am so happy. Dan's POV
*knock knock* My hands are shaking, I am so nervous I have never taken anyone out for dinner before so this is very nerve racking. I don't know what to do as I have only watched people do it on movies and TV so I have no experience at all. I hear slow footsteps coming towards the door and then the door creaks open slowly.
"Dan, you are looking fine tonight" Liv laughs blushing
"Well what about you Liv?" I question "You look like you always do... STUNNING" I joke with her
"You had me there for a second but Thanks" she replies shutting the door and locking it
"Shall we get going now?" I ask taking her hand and leading her down the steps to the car.
*Time Skip*
Liv's POV
We just got out from the most amazing, delicious dinner ever! Dan treated me like a princess, I know we aren't dating but it was still sweet and scream worthy. I wonder sometimes if he likes me or he just treats all girls like this.
"That was nice, thank you" I say
"Your welcome, I'm glad you enjoyed tonight" Dan said with a large smile. I felt my cheeks burning up... I'm blushing. I quickly cover up my face so hopefully Dan won't notice.
"Liv... Why are you covering up your face" he asks trying to remove my hands but they are not moving "Are you blushing?!" Dan laughs
I cannot believe Dan just laughed at me. I push him off me and run away before anything else embarrassing happens to me. I can't believe I would like a guy that would laugh at someone over something they can't control. I find a bench nearby not too far away and as I sit down a feel a single hot tear run down my cheek. I quickly wipe it away before anyone sees me.
Dan's POV
CRAP! I knew I would do something wrong tonight. Why the hell did I laugh what kind of a rude idiot does that?
"Stupid Dan Stupid" I hit myself in the head; I probably look like a complete moron right now.
I decide to look for Liv before she gets lost. I look around me and see who I think might me Liv walking down the road
"LIV!?" I yell running up to her turning the girl around... It wasn't her.
"What the hell do you think you are doing, you creep?!" she screamed slapping me
"Oh I'm so sorry I thought you were my friend- um- arg" Great now I am stuttering because of my stupid social issues 'reasons why Dan's a fail (yay)' I say in my head "What I'm trying to say is I have upset a girl I took out tonight and she has ran away. Have you seen her?" I correct my self
"Umm I don't know, I mean there are a lot of girls wandering around alone. Description?" she asks with an attitude
" Oh um yeah- how st- stupid can I be" I stutter once again " um well she has short brown hair slightly curly, bright brown eyes and is wearing a t-shirt say 'Meow'" I explain
Oh yeah her... she is sitting up there on a bench" she explains pointing behind me "And if I were you I would hurry because I think she might be crying. I walked past she said something about a stupid guy laughing at her" she tells me
"Haha yeah..." I say rubbing the back of my head regretfully
"So I assume that guy would be you... If you want to keep her I suggest treating her better as there will be another guy waiting there to wipe her tears" she says giving me death stares
"Thank you so much and I will keep that in mind" I say running off
"Weirdo..." I hear her say under her breath
I finally find Liv in the exact place that woman told me where she saw her.
"LIV!!!" I run up to her embracing her warm body. She tries to pull away but I hug her tighter, soon she gives up and melts in my arms "I am so happy I found you but I am also sorry about laughing at you" I say looking down at my feet in regret
She just looked away from me avoiding any eye contact "I thought you were a nice and understanding. I know you just laughed at me and I am over reacting but I have been laughed at my whole life and I have never really done anything like this so I never know how to react..." She starts to cry uncontrollably
I lift her head up and gently wipe her tears away with the sleeve of my hoodie "It's okay I understand everyone has times in their life when they don't understand or know what to do" I comfort her
"Really?" Liv sniffs hugging me "So you're not angry that I over reacted?"
"Of course not it's actually kinda cute" I say letting go of her to see her face "It shows you are strong in what you are" I smile than she starts to blush again but instead of laughing I blush too
I stand her up and grab her hand to guide her back to the car. The walk back was just us two silently walking whilst blushing
*Liv's House*
Liv's POV
"So are you sure you're not angry at me?" I say still worried Dan is only trying to be nice to me
"Of course not Liv, I have said this 3 times now" Dan says taking me up the stairs princess style *INTERNALLY SCREAMS*
"Okay I am just making sure that my brain does not go haywire when I'm trying to sleep by over thinking tonight... as my brain has a habit of doing that" I say
Dan just laughs at my remark about my over thinking but quickly covers his mouth realising he laughed "I'M SORRY!" he shouts
"It's okay I laugh at that myself all the time" I say removing his hands from his mouth.
Dan relaxes his body after hearing that he was fine. He was so adorable to me and loved that about him. Especially when he pokes my nose I feel like I'm a little kid once again.
At this point we are just standing awkwardly in front of my door not knowing what to do
"Bye?" I say with a sense of confusion in my voice
I start playing with my fingers as I am VERY nervous of what he is going to say or do but before I could do anything. Dan was pressing his lips against mine, I am shocked that I am frozen I have no idea how to react or what to do, so I just go along with it and kiss him back.
"Yeah, Bye I guess" Dan says blushing and walks down the stairs to his car.
Me?! Yeah well I'm still standing here like an idiot still not knowing what actually went on just then but whatever it was, it was amazing.
I walk inside I just scream like a fan girl "DANISNOTONFIRE JUST KISSED ME!!" I fan girl in my empty house.
