Chapter Two - Dedsec

Alisha

I couldn't sleep

Nightmares keeping me awake

Nightmares of him..

Today I would meet Dedsec, prove myself worthy if that's what they asked for

And finally my exhausted body gave way to sleep

1pm

I had finished my shift, I told my boss rob that I had a doctors appointment and he waved me away with an agitated look

I drove nervously in my little buzz box of a car I nicknamed lexy when I pulled up in the meeting spot i realised it was an abandon factory

I slowed and got out of my car taking in my surroundings always on edge

I took out my phone, like my laptop it was old and out of date but it got the job done

I scanned the area looking for any working electronics my phone blanked out and restarted

"Alisha" a voice said it sounded like a girl but she or whoever it was, was using a voice distortion

"Um yeah?" I said looking around

"This is your initiation, there is someone in that factory with something we need find it" it cut out

"How helpful" I said my feet crunching on the gravel as I walked towards the factory

Once again I scanned the area, for an abandon factory it had a fair bit of activity

The door itself was locked but after a few clicks I cracked it and swung the door open

Silence

Up ahead was a security camera its view coming up on my phone I saw something move

Quickly I raced towards the corridor

At the end the door slammed locking in place... another annoying bypass to create

The door clicked open and I kept running

My phone kept picking up a signal but then cutting out

Another security camera this time I caught sight of the person up head with a few quick clicks I bypassed the door locking it before he could reach it

He took out his phone

He was fast but I was already in the next rooms security bypassing it lodging the lift in place

Quickly I darted through the rooms till I could see him up a head he cracked my lock turning to stick his finger up at me

His face covered by a hoodie

"Rude!" I yelled back rushing after him

Finally his phone signal flickered alive on my screen a message called

"The thing" flashed, obvious enough I opened the message under it

Dedsec wouldn't make it that obvious
