You were almost to class when the burn started.

It felt like a burning, prickly rash, and you lifted up your wrist, frowning at the red mark starting to darken on your wrist.

Was that snake... Poisonous?

You stopped in your tracks, considering going back to the nurses office.

Well, I should cover it up, at least, and maybe put something on it for the burn...

You lifted up your other uninjured wrist, studying your plain (f/c) watch.

I've still got time.

You quickly headed back to the nurses office, passing Kurama in the hallway. He called your name, but you simply ignored him, pressing your wrist up to your stomach so he couldn't see and walking hurriedly past.

Gosh, I should have been more careful with that snake... Now people are going to ask questions...

You ran your uninjured hand through your hair, finally reaching the nurses office again, hurriedly slipping inside and smoothing some ointment and a simple bandage over your wrist.

So strange I've had to sneak into the nurses office twice today, it's been so long since I've had to.

You rolled down the sleeves of the ugly blazer that came with your school uniform, thanking the gods for long cuffs.

Luckily, the strange blazer that of course didn't go at all with the sailor style uniform the female students wore, but it came with it anyways and luckily you had left it somewhere and picked it up from the lost and found this morning.

You sat down at your desk.

Tomoe was still smothered with girls, and you scowled slightly, the fox's distressed voice reaching your ears.

"I've told you, I really need to G-"

"Tomoe, Tomoe! I still have a question though...!" A blond tugged on Tomoe's sleeve.

"Where did you transfer from, Tomoe?"

"Do you play any sports?"

"Tomoeee~!"

After a few more moments of this that seemed like an eternity, you finally stood up suddenly, firmly pressing your hands into the desk, standing up in such a way you made a lot more noise than you intended.

The group of girls turned back to look at you, silence filling the air, and you cleared your throat, putting on the one expression you rarely used. It was like a smile, but something about it was off, and to those you directed it towards, they could practically feel the malice radiating off of you like black snakes.

"It's almost classtime," you said slowly, with a soft tone that burst with malice just beneath the surface. "We should get in our seats.

The group of girls had gone pale, and scattered to their desks with a precision and smooth, unison movement that rivaled the movements they made when Mr. Fujiori got irritated.

Tomoe looked around, uncharacteristically bewildered and completely ignorant to the pure poison you had shot into half of your classmates.
