"SIT UP STRAIGHT!"That was basically one of my last riding lessons. My riding instructor noticed that my body protector (which is like a bulletproof vest for equestrians) was sitting askew and told us to go back to the shop and get a new one. But the people at the shop gave us the number of their chiropractor, saying that it must be my back because it wasn't the jacket!
A couple of days later, we got an appointment with the chiropractor, in Ampthill. She took one look at me and said bluntly: "You've got severe scoliosis."
