Soulmates | Nanami Haruka (Uta No Prince Sama)

Note: This is a Soulmates type of one-shot, in which everyone has a timer on their wrist that counts how many years, months and days it'll be until the person meets their soulmate. Also, in this one-shot, due to the fact it's a soulmates one-shot, Shining Saotome approves love, no matter if it's a Yuri, a Yaoi, or a normal Boy-girl couple. I'm sorry if you don't like Love Live! Or Aquors or U's, but I do, but you don't have to listen to the music.

--Narrator's POV--

It was another beautiful day at Saotome Academy ( I don't remember the name of the school, sorry -0-;") and (Y/n) (L/n) was walking the halls, looking at her timer on her arm. It said, 0 years, 0 months, and 3 days. That meant she just had to wait another 3 days until she could meet her soulmate. As she was walking the halls, she thought to herself, until she heard a bell ring, signaling the next class was about to start. (Y/n) started running, holding her music sheets tightly. She was in the S-class, and didn't want to be late and scolded by her teacher/advisor, Harudori-sensei. (Pretend there's a second S-class, ok?)

--Your POV--

'Crap! I'm going to be late!' You thought to yourself as you ran down the hallway, not thinking about anything other than being late, until you bumped into Syo on the way. [Syo is also your best friend, and is nice around you.] "Hey (Y/n). You ok? You seemed like you were in a bit of a rush." Syo said. "Yeah, I'm alright. I'm just worried about Harudori-Sensei scolding me. She can be a bit... harsh sometimes." Syo grabbed your hand, and pulled you up. "Well, Natsuki is after me again, so gotta go!" Syo then ran off, and sprinted. Even though Natsuki was Syo's soulmate, the two still tended to be running [or chasing] the other. You then saw Natsuki running [I'd say more like SPRINTING] after Syo with a sparkly, bedazzled mint green ballgown. [Ex. the Victorian Kotori UR card idolized] "Hey (N/n)! Have you seen Syo-Chan? I'm trying to make him wear this dress. And also this wig!" Natsuki then pulled out an ash-blonde wig [Kotori's haircolor +style] with a white maid headpiece that had flowers of different shades of pastels on it. "I'm sorry, Natsuki-kun, but I haven't seen him since yesterday at lunch. But good luck in your search!" You then sprinted off to your classroom, in hopes that Harudori-sensei wouldn't shoot you down with a nerf gun.

Once you were safely in your classroom, and having Harudori-sensei shoot you in the back while walking to your seat, Harudori-sensei began to explain the next project that all of you would begin working on, which was a project that the composers were to work with the other composers, and the idols were to work with the other idols. You walked up to the board, where the list of names was posted. You were supposed to work with another girl who's name was Nanami Haruka. "Has everyone seen their partner?The two of you will start working together tomorrow, but (L/n)-san, could you please stay after class? Everyone else is dismissed to lunch." Everyone flooded out of the room, as you shouted to (F/n) to save a spot for you. After the room was silent, and it was only you and Harudori-sensei, your teacher began to speak. "(L/n)-san, unfortunately, your partner, Ms. Haruka is sick. She will be better in two days, but until then you must work on the song alone, and I already gave her your email so she could email you about the song. Her email is NHaruka@SaotomeAcademy.com (Note: This email address doesn't exist, so don't use it. Unless by now, someone has created a fan account.) so if you see any emails from that address, it's her." Harudori-sensei then walked out of the room. You nodded, and thought to yourself about being partners with Nanami. She was already pretty well-known around school, and she would be your Kohai during this project, since you were older than her. And also that not to forget to check your email. That as well.

--Timeskip--

Your timer had only one day left on it. As you sat there, looking through your dorm's window, the starry sky just outside. It was around 11:30 at night, and your roommate, (F/n) had fallen asleep already, murmuring something about a guy named Ren Jinguji. You were kind of scared to meet Nanami, and if she was your soulmate. It scared you, but you'd survive. You cuddled your (F/a) stuffed animal, and fell asleep, while a small black cat and a white rabbit watched you from your window. [Random animal placement is my specialty. :3]

--ANOTHER timeskip! :D--

The next day, you were running a bit late to class. (F/n) forgot to wake you up, your phone was dead, and on top of it all, your timer had only 1 hour left. And you had only 1 hour to quickly get breakfast from somewhere off-campus, and come back in time for class. You had already gotten dressed, and were sprinting to your car in hopes of it not being a pain to unlock. You whipped out your key, hit the unlock button, opened the door, and hopped in, putting your seatbelt on and driving off.

--Nanami's POV--

I was scared to meet my Senpai, [Note: In Japan, Senpai-Kohai relationships are kind normal in Japan, because of joint projects between grades.] (Y/n)-san. I had never met her before or seen her, but my timer had only 50 minutes left until I would see her. In the back of my classroom, I could hear Natsuki complaining about Syo not wanting to wear dresses to Tokiya. I felt like there was a part of me missing, but I just couldn't figure it out. Natsuki did look a ton happier after he and Syo started dating, but I'm not sure if that was just me observing him or something. But I checked my timer, and it said I only had 50 minutes left which made me think that there might be a possibility of (Y/n)-san being my soulmate. But that's never gonna happen anyways. I spaced out a bit, and ended up falling asleep. But then my timer started to ring (Which also woke me up), signaling that I only had five minutes left until I would meet my soulmate, which was quite scary. Everyone began to turn towards me, and then a bunch of "congratulations, Nanami!" were said in unison. "Thank you everyone. I'm kind of scared, but I think I'll be okay." I said, with happiness flowing through me. "Good luck, Nanami!" Natsuki called out. I walked over to him and Tokiya and gave the both of them a hug, since they were like my second family. "Thank you guys." I ran out into the hallway with all of my stuff, and started sprinting to the library, where (Y/n)-san was.

--Your POV--

Nanami was late, and while you sat there, your timer kept ticking down. At this point, you only had 45 seconds left until you met your soulmate. 45, 44. A bit of pre-meeting nervousness washed over me like a wave. 43, 42. I kept waiting. I heard the door to the library creak open, and some footsteps along with it. 41, 40, 39, 38, 37, 36, 35, 34. I heard a voice ask the librarian if she had seen me, and the librarian responded to the other voice, but I didn't hear what she had said. 33, 32, 31, 30, 29, 28, 27, 26, 25, 24. I heard keychains jingling, and the sound of clicking heels. 24, 23, 22, 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14. I then heard a voice call out, "(L/n)-san? Are you here?" I replied with, "I'm sitting at one of the desks over here!" 13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1. A resounding beep rang out through the library when I saw a girl with short, orange-blond hair, yellow-green eyes, and the academy's traditional girls uniform. The girl looked around the age of a second year, and also how Harudori-sensei had described her. "Are you (L/n)-san?" she asked. I nodded, and noticed that she and I had now two matching soulmate tattoos where our timers used to be. I hugged her, and said, "This is the best day of my life. My soulmate is my partner for a project." The younger girl blushed. "Oh! I'm sorry. I forgot to introduce myself properly. I'm (Y/n) (L/n), but you can just call me (Y/n)-chan." I smiled. "My name is Haruka Nanami, and you can just call me Nanami or Nana-Chan. Whichever one you choose is fine." the girl smiled. Our tattoos both had deer holding roses in their mouths, and a scripted text as well. It said, "To the stars through adversity, we shall stick together." (It's just a quote I like.)

I remembered that sweet memory, and walked out of our bedroom. Nanami was over with our adopted daughter, Lucia, sleeping on the couch. I grabbed a blanket, and covered them, and then cuddled the two of them, and fell into deep sleep.

This one-shot was actually fun to write, but it still took awhile.
