--Narrator's POV--
(Y/n) and her girlfriend, Riko Sakurauchi, were celebrating your one year anniversary of living together, and you decided to go to the pet store with her to get your first pet. The one and only thing that you didn't know about your precious girlfriend was that she had a great fear of dogs.
And so your trip with Riko to the pet store began.........
--Third person POV--
As the bell rung, the door to the pet store opened, with two girls holding hands. One with long red hair, golden eyes, and the other, a girl wit (H/l), (H/c) hair and (E/c) eyes. "Welcome!" The attendant said, their voice brimming with excitement. The two girls walked up to the counter, stopping to look at the attendant. "Hello, what can I do for you girls?" The attendant asked them. "We're celebrating our anniversary together and are buying our first family pet." As her girlfriend talked to the attendant, Riko began to feel someone, or something, pawing at her leg. Riko didn't think much of it at first, assuming her girlfriend was up to a prank on her or something. But a few minutes later, Riko had ran out of patience.
"(Y/n), can you please stop that?" Riko asked, turning to her girlfriend. "Stop doing what?" (Y/n) asked, with a questioning expression. "The thing you're doing to my leg?" Riko said. 'But I'm not doing anything, I swear." Riko then looked to the attendant, who held their hands up. "Well, if no one's doing it, then who is?" Riko then turned around to see a medium sized, caramel colored dog, looking at her with its' big, dark eyes. Riko then started sweating, and let out a eardrum-shattering scream. Riko began running away at top speed, the dog following behind, nearly on her rear end by mere inches. The attendant swiftly jumped out from behind the counter, speeding after Riko, (Y/n) following behind.
---30 Minutes later--
Riko collapsed on the floor, exhausted. The small caramel colored dog went to sleep next to Riko, the dog slightly leaning against her. (Y/n) and the attendant stood there, staring in awe. "One of the puppies from puppy training school must have gotten loose. I apologize for the trouble, miss." The attendant bowed in apology. "It's alright, I never knew my girlfriend would react to a dog so adorably..." (Y/n)'s (E/c) eyes glimmered. "I guess we should get a cat, then." (Y/n) and the attendant laughed. "Steph, have you seen a dog?" Another attendant walked out of a hallway, with a sign that said "Puppy Training School" with an arrow pointing at the hallway. "Yeah, the puppy is over here. It chased a customer around the store." The attendant then turned to (Y/n). "Please give me a minute." The attendant then bowed and walked away. (Y/n) then picked up her girlfriend, kissing her on the forehead. "Sweet dreams, Riko." (Y/n) then chose an orange cat from their adoption center, and headed home with her precious girlfriend and their new cat.
--Extended--
"Huh.... (Y/n), where are we?" Riko woke up, rubbing her eyes. "We're at home, and this is our new cat, Pizza." (Y/n) said, picking up the small orange fluffball. "A2n appropriate name for an adorable cat." Riko and (Y/n) laughed, joining together for a kiss. Pizza then meowed, the two pulling away and laughing again. "Love you too, Pizza!"
