It all started out like every other night at the Museum. You meet Kotori at the back door, and then go change into your police outfits and guard the exhibits. Currently, the museum was having a exhibition with diamonds, so you two were on high security until the exhibition left the museum. Kotori was your childhood friend from the first day of preschool onwards. "Hey, (y/n)-chan, it's kind of odd that it's this quiet right now, huh..." Kotori said, her voice echoing down the hall with the added clicks of our shoes. "Yeah... It's almost too quiet. Let's go check the exhibit." After college, we both left to live in London, England as roommates. As we approached the exhibit, we heard slight scuffling noise. I gave Kotori the hand signals to open the door in three seconds. Kotori then swung the door wide open, to reveal a small white and brown bird with a tiny police hat on. "Awww! You're so cute! I'm going to keep you and call you birb!" Kotori reached down and picked up the bird. "How did it get inside though?" I asked, hoping that it was just a coincidentally opened window that was forgot about at closing time. "We need to check. You never know until you look!" Kotori said, giving me a smile. Kotori turned on her flashlight, and began to flash it around the room. "It sounds like there's something walking around in here...." I said, looking around, with the diamonds and other precious jewels sparkling because of the flashlight. As we walked, the small bird flew next to Kotori, it's tiny wings making small blasts of wind. At the very end of the exhibit, a rummaging noise could be loudly and clearly heard. I got into a fighting stance as Kotori placed her hand on the doorknob. The door then burst open, revealing a blonde girl in a sleeveless-turtleneck sweater, shorts, a pair of black knee high-stockings and boots, and a bag with a shimmering blue diamond necklace strung around her neck. The girl looked surprised, but then opened a window and jumped out. "Kotori, we need to follow her!" I slid out the window, Kotori following behind. The girl began to sprint across the balcony, and jumped through one of the sets of glass doors. I ran as fast as I could, trying to keep up with the girl.
