Raven could only watch in horror as her father kissed the new soul, his arms wrapped around her waist. Raven stood up with a fast pace and slammed her hand on her throne, palm flat, "What the hell, father?" She exclaimed, confusion and anger hitting her. Azazel slowly pulled back from the kiss and turned his head towards Raven, "What's the matter, darling?" He spoke in a slow manner, a smirk tugging at his lips. Raven was used to her father being with different women, but they had all been demons so far, but never had she thought her father would want to be with a human. She opened her mouth to protest, but closed it again in defeat, not even knowing where to start. She just shook her head and stormed down the wide aisle towards the doors of the castle, not bothering to stay there with her father any longer. She was met with the dark midnight sky when she shut the doors behind her, the big doors closing with a loud bang. She strutted along the dark alleyways in a fast pace, passing by several houses that stood along the sides of the street, light shining out of a few windows. When she arrived at the house she was looking for, she knocked twice on the door in front of her, wrapping her arms around her as she waited for the door to open. The door opened, showing a young man with jet black hair framing his face, "Gabriel." Raven spoke with a smile.
Emma followed Azazel out of the castle, her arm hooked through his as her hand grabbed onto his upper arm, mesmerized by how he looked in his human form. Emma's eyes fell on a black lake as a demon came out of it, gasping for air before he climbed out of the water. "Don't be scared, it's the only way we can heal our bodies" Azazel spoke, Emma letting go of him as he walked over to the edge of the lake. He took his blouse off and let it drop to the floor, only dressed in his leather pants he wore under his armor. He looked back at Emma one last time before he walked into the lake, the black water slowly enveloping his body. He stopped for a moment when it reached his hips, a few pairs of black hands grabbing onto his torso, making Emma gasp softly. The hands reached up to grab his arms, pulling him further into the water before two wrapped around his neck, Azazel lowering himself down into the water completely. Emma stared at the unmoving water for what felt like forever before he came up again, breathing calmly instead of the other demons who came out of the water. He moved his hand through his wet grey hair to move it out of his face, Emma's eyes wandering down his torso before stopping at his prominent hipbones sticking out of the rim of his pants. She quickly tore her eyes away to look up in Azazel's, who reached down to grab his blouse from the floor. "You won't have to do it anytime soon since you're not completely changed yet." Azazel spoke, tying his blouse together again before he started walking, Emma picking up her pace to keep up with him. "What just happened?" She asked him as they entered the castle again, causing Azazel to stop in his tracks to look back at her. "There are lost souls in the lake which feed from our wounds, and that's what heals our bodies" Azazel spoke, a few strands of his wet grey hair hanging in front of his eyes. His hand suddenly reached up to touch her cheek, his thumb running over her cheekbone. A small smile formed on his lips before the doors were thrown open again, Emma looking past Azazel's shoulder to see Dante, Dracul and Aegon walking in. "We couldn't find Raven m'lord" Dracul spoke, his long hair hanging loosely around his torso, a pair of black horns poking through it. "Send patrols through the town, she's not safe there" Azazel spoke, before turning his head to look at Emma for a moment. "I need to show Emma to our quarters so tell me when you find her." "Yes my lord" Aegon answered, before the three of them walked off again. Azazel walked back to Emma and placed his hand on her lower back, escorting her through the long hallways of the castle.
"I'm even sure that he's not even looking for me right now. Probably too busy with that human." Raven scoffed, venting her frustrations out to Gabriel, her footsteps pacing around the room. Gabriel just nodded and listened attentively, but Raven noted that something seemed off about him. "It sure is a change. I mean, from his own kind to humans.. That's a big step." Gabriel spoke, adding his thoughts to the conversation. "It's one hell of a big step. Humans. Do I even need to spell it out?" Raven got angrier with the second, the thought of her father being with the human making her sick. Although she knew it was about Emma being human, what made her angry as well was that her father just seemed to go from any woman to the next one. Gabriel seemed unsure about what he was going to say as he opened and closed his mouth a few times, "But then again.. You are with a fallen angel, how is that any different?" He asked, looking at Raven with a questioning face. Raven turned around and glared at him, silencing Gabriel. "Because, Gabriel, you are still part of the supernatural. You're part of this world, Purgatory. Humans are an entire different concept." Raven's face softened just slightly, letting Gabriel's words sink in. Gabriel just sighed and pulled Raven on the couch next to him, letting her head rest against his shoulder. "We should be careful, though. Your father might not be looking for you, but I'm pretty sure he has sent out his guards." Gabriel seemed in deep thought as he spoke, his eyebrows furrowing slightly as he seemed to let that sink in. Raven gave a silent nod but didn't give it much thought until her eyes caught the faintest sight of dimmed light outside, it appearing as lanterns in the distance. Raven stood up with a rush, "Shit." She cursed, looking around her for any place to hide. Gabriel stood up as well, having noticed the lights as well. "Back door." He spoke firmly, motioning with his hand towards a door at the other side of the room. Raven thanked him and made a sprint towards the door.
