It was around 3am when Raven decided to leave her room after staying there for what seemed like forever. She didn't want to risk getting caught so she kept herself quiet whilst trying to entertain herself with her surroundings. Raven opened her door and tiptoed down the stairs, making sure to look around for any guards. Although there was a nightshift, Raven knew how lazy certain guards could get and how they had an intension of falling asleep. The thought of there being a hunter in the castle made her curious, so she made her way to the dungeon where she found a man tied to the wall with metal cuffs. The man seemed to have fallen asleep from exhaustion, his body positioned in a very uncomfortable sitting position. Raven contemplated on whether to wake him up or not but her curiosity got the best of her. "Sir?" Raven awkwardly stammered, not knowing what to call the man and or how to wake him up. Thankfully, to her relief, the man slowly opened his eyes, tilting his head up slightly. His eyes seemed to widen a bit in fear but his exhaustion restraint him from making any more movement. Raven moved her finger to her lips and made a shushing noise, as to tell the man to be quiet. "Tell me your name. And what has my father got planned for you?" Raven looked at the man with curiosity, waiting for an answer. The man's voice came out rough, probably dry from dehydration, "My name is Jack. I'm a hunter as you may know. Your father made me turn into a demon." The man now known as Jack explained, licking his dry lips. Raven's eyes moved to the empty glass on the ground, "Who's been taking care of you?" She asked as her eyes also noticed the freshly bounded bandages on the man's body. "Emma." Jack quickly answered, not being able to get much more words past his lips. Raven just nodded slowly and then made a circle motion with her finger in the direction of the glass, making it fill itself up with fresh water. Even though Jack was tied up, he was able to bend down slightly with his body so he could drink the water. "Thank you..-" Jack spoke, his voice sounding questioningly, "Raven. My name's Raven. Don't tell me father I was here, though." Raven gave him a soft smile and stood up and made her way out of the dungeon, not wanting to stay too long in case she'd get caught.
Thankfully she made it outside of the castle without any guards catching her, Kali being an exception, but he'd let her off after she convinced him she was only going for a midnight stroll. She made her way along the familiar path to Gabriel's house, wanting someone to talk with for a moment. She knocked on his door only to be surprised with the door opening not only a second later, revealing what seemed to be a very distressed angel. "Raven.. What are you doing here at this hour?" Gabriel stammered, trying to catch his breath and what seemed to be his thoughts together. "I'll explain, don't worry. What's up with you, though?" Raven asked whilst softly pushing the door further open so she could make her way inside, curious as to why Gabriel looked like hell. Gabriel closed the door behind her and leaned his back against it, "Nothing, Dear. I was just worried about you, thinking your dad might've punished you." Raven scoffed, "Oh please, he might be my father but I'm never letting him lay even a finger on me. Besides, he was too busy with his new prisoner - a hunter." Raven made herself comfortable on the couch, taking in her surroundings that seemed to have changed quite a bit. Gabriel's normal tidy home had changed into an utter mess. There was shattered glass on the floor, books everywhere and the table even seemed to have shifted from its previous position. A frown appeared on Raven's face as her eyes traveled to Gabriel's, who's eyes widened, mouth falling open slightly. "Hunter? What hunter?" His words came out messily as he made his way towards Raven, letting his body collapse on the couch. "His name was Jack. My father apparently turned him into one of us." Raven's eyes examined Gabriel's face, now knowing for sure something was up. She saw Gabriel's adam's apple move up and down quickly as he fidgeted with his shirt, his eyes moving panicked from left to right. "Gabriel, what's up with you?" Raven asked, raising her voice slightly as she found his behavior very unusual. Gabriel seemed to calm down a bit, his hands coming to lay still on his lap as he let his body sink into the couch in a more relaxed manner. "Nothing, Dear. Just had a rough night's sleep, that's all. I'm just glad you're safe." He explained, taking Raven's hands in his as he let his thumb brush over the back of her hand, softly. Raven wasn't convinced just quite yet but let it slide for now, letting her body relax against Gabriel's, his wing coming to lay over her protectively. "You shouldn't be staying too long, though. I don't want your father to send out a search party again." Gabriel's voice had a hint of panic in it but it soon disappeared again. Raven nodded softly, "I won't. But we're good for now, I handled it with Kali."
