It's been two years of waiting. longing. wondering. He is actually looking at me! I thought to myself as I saw LJ staring at me from the corner of my eye.
I screamed with delight on the inside, but outside I attempted to look like it didn't even phase me that my crush was staring at me! I tried to be cool and collective but let a little smile loose. I mean come on, who could contain that much excitement?
I glanced over to make sure I wasn't dreaming... and I wasn't. He was totally staring at ME! LJ turned as soon as I looked into his gorgeous blue eyes, and he shook his head to keep his blonde hair out of his eyes as he turned.
I quickly looked away and pushed up my reading glasses. I felt so dumb with them on. I'm a complete nerd, and the only thing I'm missing is that piece of tape in the middle of my glasses to fit the movie description of a loser.
Some people tell me I'm "beautiful", or "the prettiest girl at this shcool" but let's be honest here. I'm far from beautiful and everyone knows the prettiest girl at the school is Dylan Johnson. She could be a model!
Anyway, my name is Summer Evert. Your average wallflower , and as you probably guessed, "the quiet type". I don't understand why people call me that though. I mean I talk some. Apparently not enough though. Most guys barely notice me, and if they do it's one of those miracles that life is supposed to be so full of, but I've only experienced a couple at the most in my day. But I'm only 14 , so I'm just wondering how many actually come around.
Oh and LJ is this beautiful guy that I've had a crush on for more than two years. And I know, I know the word "crush" sounds childish and immature but I don't care anymore. He's probably the most popular guy in school that every girl is "in love" with. And he's never ever noticed me.
Until Now.
