My heart immediately shattered into pieces.

"They said I don't love you," I repeated him. I was astonished. I knew they were petty but I didn't know how far they would go. This was too far.

"It's a lie," I blurted out, "a complete lie! I love you so much, Eridan. There's nothing that can change my mind about that!"

He continued to cry, "I don't know if I can believe that anymore." He turned and ran down the hallway.

"Hey!" I yelled and chased him. I rounded the corner and he was gone but who did I find? Those petty girls.

"Oh," Feferi smiled and folded her arms, "Hello, Sollux. How have you been?"

It took my entire willpower to not lunge at her and rip her throat out that very second, "Don't you talk to me like that. Where is he?!"

"Where's who?" Aradia smirked, "Honestly, we have no idea what you're talking about!"

I screamed out of frustration and punched Aradia in the nose. Feferi gasped and stepped back so I stepped forward and punched her in the throat. I heard a cracking noise which sent shivers through me. She fell to the floor and she didn't get back up.

Aradia held her nose and yelled, "I think you may have just killed her!"

"I'll kill you next if you don't tell me where he went!" I yelled through gritted teeth. By now I was crying profusely and I didn't even realize it.

She pointed at the back door while she crumbled to the ground, crying. I shrugged it off and went out the back. He was there. Sitting in the steps, crying into his scarf.

I sat next to him, "ED, look. Before I say anything else, I wanna apologize. No, I never said anything about not loving you, because I do. I'm apologizing on behalf of those girls. They told you a lie. A rumor. It wasn't true."

He sniffed and looked at me, "Sollux, I... I don't know if I can forgive you."

"But I didn't do anything!" I stood up and yelled.

He cowered slightly, "Please don't yell at me. I'm just saying that... I feel nothing for you now. All my feelings that I had-they're gone now. I don't know what happened to them."

All of my anger subsided and if my heart breaking wasn't audible, I'd be surprised, "Eridan..."

"Please, don't," he sighed and stood up, "I just can't love you anymore, Sollux. Goodbye." He turned and walked back inside. I sat on the steps and watched the only person I ever truly loved leave me.
