Zeref pov

It was finally the end of school 'Don't get me wrong I like school but it's boring without talking to anyone'

I started walking towards the school gate when a student put his foot to trip me. I smirked and stepped on it accidentally stepping on it hard. He winced and looked at me surprised and so did his friend. I kept walking till I got to my house. I opened it to be greeted by Izo

"Miss me bud?" I asked

"Ohh- ahh!" he exclaimed, jumping onto my shoulders

I went into my room and opened the door, setting Izo on the bed. I grabbed some clothes and went to take a shower. I changed int this sorta-type sport wear. Then my phone began to buzz

To Zeref from Jackal

"Dude, we just got here. Move it"

To Jackal from Zeref

"Yeah, I'm just leaving"

"Ikimashou, Izo!" I yelled running to the door

When we got to our destination the public basketball court

"Glad to see you finally made it, Zeref-san" Jackal said

A guy with golden brown hair, yellow eyes. Personally I think he is like a cat because two ears and a tail

"Yo" said Jackal friend, Mard

He has long black hair that up in a high ponytail and dark eyes

"Sup guys"

"Ready to play? This time you're going down!" exclaimed Jackal

These have tried to beat me everytime we met up. I come here every Monday and Friday's that how I met them

"Sure you will"

We proceeded to play. I was me vs Jackal then me vs Mard. I did a few hook shots, dunks, shot from 3 and sometimes I messed with them by passing the ball between my legs, making them angry

I already won more than 15 times and I'm not even tired. While they are the floor

"O-One *pant* ... more *pant*" Jackal said, sitting up then standing

I ran past him and shoot the basket. He began to sulk in the corner. I started laughing and they soon joined. Our happiness was ruined by the ring tone of my phone

Laxus pov

After Lucy left to her place, which took a while since Gramps wouldn't let her. He kept talking and talking. I began to make my way to the place I was metting the gang.

"Alright, what you got?" I asked

"Laxus-sama, it seem that new kid the 'nerd' thinks it's ok to get near Lucy-sama" Freed said

"I saw him walk up to her today in the hall way, using really words and his cheeks were pink. He was blushing major just by looking at her" Ever added crossing her arms over her boobs

"Yeah, I heard rumors" Bickslow says sticking his tongue out "Rumor, rumors" his babies repeated

"So he thinks he can be near my girl well see about that, soon" I raised a brow "What about that nerd who was doing my work, did he bring it in"

"Yes, Laxus-sama, he handed it to me and I turned in it just like you asked"

"No one asked where I was right?"

They shook their head, "We did everything you asked us to"

"Good"

~skip: School: Lunch~

Lucy pov

I didn't get a chance to talk to Zeref today. The teachers handed too much homework. It was already lunch. He's so mysterious. I need to find out what he does an-

"Lu-chan!! Snap out of it!!!"

"Huh? What now?" I asked confused

"You've been out of it since this morning. Is something bothering you?"

"Umm, I'm not sure-"

"Not sure about what, Babe" Laxus said sitting next to me

"About the project, I don't know who to research and I can't think of anything" I lied

"Aww, if you ever need help. I can get Freed to help you" he said "So you can finish on time and go to my game and afterwards we cna hang out, just us two"

"Umm... no that's fine I should be able to finish on time. I'll be there for your game" he then kissed me on the cheek and went to the jocks table

Levy looked a me werid, "Ok, what's really going on"

I pulled out my phone and texted her

"I don't know why I just can't stop thinking about Zeref and if he acts different outside of school"

"Why?"

"I'm not sure it's like he is hiding something?"

"Hahaha, nice joke Lu, I almost believed you"

"What's wrong with you, Shrimp?" Gajeel came over looking confused (that ended the texting)

"I'll prove it. I'm planning on following him after school. Wanna come?" I said, serious

She nodded, "Are you sure about this?"

"Yeah"

"Fine, let's follow him" everyone at the table looked at us weird. I told them I would explain soon
