Chapter 9

Lucy pov

I sighed happily walking towards my next class. I just couldn't stop thinking about Zeref.

"Lu-chan!" I hear someone scream behind me, I turn to see Levy

"W-Wait *pant* for- me next *pant* time" she said trying to catch her breath

"Gomen Levy-chan" I say scratched my neck, before walking and my mind drifting back to Zeref

"Lu-chan, why are you making that face?" Levy broke my thoughts

"I was still thinking of following Zeref after school"

"Why? Are you still going on about that?"

"I don't know just something seems different about him"

"Are you sure about this?"

"I-I'm not... sure, Levy-chan. I just have to figure it out"

~after school~

Me and Levy were waiting close to the school gates waiting to see when Zeref would come out. It shouldn't be hard to spot him.

"There he is, Lu-chan" Levy whispered

I noticed that he was walking along the sidewalk instead of taking his car. If he is walking his place must be close by, so that makes it a short walk. As we followed him he stopped in front of a decent house before he walked in. We did have to wait just for a short time till he came back out with fresh pair of clothes. He came out with a black shirt and some grayish sweats. He didn't have the sweater vest, the glasses nothing that made him look like a nerd but he looked-

"He looks really different without the glasses and vest" Levy said staring in awe somehow making me jealous at the way she looked at him

Zeref pov

I was on my way to swimming class with my coach Aquarius. Who just happened to work with my martial arts teacher. Let me tell you she is someone you don't want to get mad. My martial arts teacher says that swimming will help me out it's supposed to help build up my strength. Especially since I have a competition tomorrow. Along the way I felt like someone was watching me I took a look around and saw no one. So I kept going till I reached the pool.

"What took you so long?" her voice boomed

"Gomen, it won't happen again" I bowed

"It better not. NOW GET IN THERE AND GIVE ME 100 LAPS" she shouted pushing me in as I looked back up, now my clothes are soaking wet

"Ahhh!" I shouted as I landed into the water with a splash

I grabbed the edge of the pool pulling myself out. I began to strip my shirt off and wringing the water out. I then got rid of my sweatpants leaving me in gray shorts.

Lucy pov

For some reason I just couldn't look away- I mean how can you not. He has a six-pack, amazing and defined muscles and you could see a v-line sticking out of his shorts. All I could see was the way his muscles rippled at each stroke he took while doing his laps. I was soon pulled out of my thoughts...

"Lu-chan, what are you staring at?" Levy asked, as I turned back to look at her "You looking at Zeref's bo-"

"N-No I wasn't! I wasn't... I r-really wasn't-" I tried denying waving my hands in front of my face

"Who knew he wasn't a nerd"

"Yeah! Everyone just judges him on the way he looks. If they really knew what he looked like I think he be one of the most popular kids in school"

"Take a picture, Lu-chan" I was shocked and confused

"N-Nani?!"

"So we can show Mira and Erza later tonight. Remember the sleepover, this time my place"

"Ohh... right" I pulled my phone out

As I opened the camera app and look up ready to snap a picture. I swear I saw him make eye contact with me. I looked back and he was definitely looking our way. I looked over to Levy and she had the same shocked look on her face- the same as mine. When I looked back up I saw his face right in front of mine.

"Lucy" he tilted his head "Why are you taking pictures of me?" he chuckled with a mischievous grin 'And let me tell you it was a sexy husky chuckle and that grin just left me- WOW'

I know for sure I was blushing my face felt like it was on fire. If I did give him an answer I'm sure I would be stuttering like a crazy fangirl after talking to her crush/senpai for the first time or a fangirl who touched her crush/senpai on accident or because he dropped a pencil and our hands touched. Even before I had a chance to answer I heard yelling

"ZEREF! GET BACK HERE!!!!" yelled his coach as she made her way over to us

"S-Sumimasen" he bowed as she left with a Tch, me and Levy tried using this chance to escape

Unfortunately we didn't escape to quickly or quiet enough. He turned around and smile which I couldn't help but smile back.

"See you tomorrow, Luce!" he shouted

"Hai!!" I shouted back my face a blushing mess, then I felt a slap on the shoulder I turn to see Levy giving her a 'really' look

~skip to Levy's place~

We soon arrived at Levy's house after greeting her mom we went upstairs. We waited till the girls arrived which wasn't long. We ran to answer the door.

"We're here" Mira squealed as Erza and Juvia stood behind her

"Come on" I said as we walked to Levy's room

The whole room was set-up for the sleepover. We did what we always do at sleepovers we talked, texted, watched movies, eat snacks and played games. Although I could be forgetting something every sleepover is different

"Hey I want to show you something. It's someone from our school" I show them the picture

"Hey is hot" Mira said

"He isn't as hot as Gray-sama but he is good looking"

"Jellal is better" I heard Erza mumbled

"Who is that? I don't recognize them and I know everyone's face in school" Mira said, of course she would know everyone, everyone wants to be her friend can't blame them she is the best

"It's Zeref" they all just stare well not Levy she knew

"WHAT!!" they yelled in unison
