We finally found that Egyptian dead king's tomb. I've forgotten his name, anyways as we entered Lara read a bunch of hieroglyphics i couldn't read. I never learnt Egyptian.
"It says he that Tutankhamun was the son of Akhenaten ,formerly Amenhotep IV, and one of Akhenaten's sisters,or possibly one of his cousins. As a prince, he was known as Tutankhaten. He ascended to the throne in 1333 BC, at the age of nine or ten, taking the throne name Nebkheperure." She read somewhat quietly
"Wait he married his cousin? That's just wrong" i interrupted
"Yes now please shut up" she snapped back
I instantly shut my mouth. I watched her in amazement as she tried to figure out this curse, i noticed she was walking slowly and she looked more paler than she did before. I wonder if shes okay.
"Nate, come look at this." I heard Lara say
"What is it" i asked walking over to her.
"It says that this stone will make you relive your worst nightmares."
"Scary."
Lara reached for it, i slapped her hand away.
"What if its something bad? What if you get cursed?" I asked worried
"Im sure ill be fine.
Lara's POV
I reached for the stone in the wall. I will admit i was scared. I touched it and i regretted it immediately. Everything went black. The last thing i could her was Nathan shouting my name.
