Nathan's POV

We finally arrived in Egypt after 5 or 6 hours. Lara fell asleep about 3 hours ago. She looks so beautiful when she sleeps but I've noticed she seems restless. She keeps on mumbling something i cant quite make out. I didnt want to wake her just in case she attacked me.

"Kid, you need to wake her up." I heard Sully say
"But she's so peaceful" i protested
"Just wake her up. We gotta get a move on"

I sighed and gently shook Lara until she woke up. Her eyes shot open and she stared at me. Her chocolate brown eyes didnt leave my ocean blue eyes. I quickly broke contact.

"Uh we're here"

She nodded and we both got our stuff we needed for this expedition.

Lara's POV

Goddamn its hot out here. Luckily i wore shorts instead of long pants. Its been about an hour since we've arrived and we've managed to get ourselves some transport to get the the pyramid we needed to get to.

"According to my research Tutankhamun's tomb should be in that pyramid over there" i said pointing the the pyramid on the far left
"Well what are we waiting for. Lets get going." Nathan confidently said as he walked towards the pyramid.

I followed him.

"How the fuck do we get in?" Nathan asked
"There should be a secret entrance" i replied scanning the pyramid.
"And where would this secret entrance be?"

I walked towards the pyramid and kneeled down, i moved some sand and found a small lever. I pulled it and a door appeared.

"There." I said proudly
"Show off" Nathan muttered
"Well i didnt see you trying to find it" i barked

He put his hands up in defence, probably because i raised my voice. I shrugged it off as we entered.

"Be careful, there could be dangerous traps lurking about" i warned
"Oh please, you're the one that needs to be careful babe" he retorted
"For your information, I'm very capable of taking care of myself thank you." I said in defence.
"Okay, i believe you"
"Good. Oh and don't call me babe. Im not your girl."

Nathan nodded slowly and we continued to venture through the tomb.
