After everything that happened the team got a day off. I had time to go see my counselor and my mom again. I think she has been missing me, she is so use to seeing me everyday. She almost dropped to the ground when she saw my face but I promised her it was just work.

I don't tell her I saw Jesse. I don't know if she would be able to take it. I hurry up the stairs and into the office, I have to admit I'm mostly excited to see Spencer but I'd never tell anyone else that.

I feel kind of embarrassed that I feel something for him. Not only would it be breaking the rules of the FBI but I just don't feel ready to jump into anything.

Jesse ruined relationships for me and I know Spencer is nothing like him but I am just scared every time I picture myself in a relationship with anyone.

I can't help but think he is a cutie though.

He is sitting at his desk when I walk in. JJ greets me and I smile at Spencer. He gives me a small smile but doesn't say anything. That's odd. Maybe he still feels bad about my face. The bruises are quickly fading.

"Meeting in 5." Hotch announces. I run up to the coffee room thinking Reid might join me but he heads straight to the meeting. In about to walk into the meeting room until I hear my name.

"Come on man! How much more of a nerd can you be! Kathryn is hot and it's obvious she likes you." Morgan says.

Shit, do I make it obvious. Well we are profilers so I don't know why I thought I could hide it.

"It would be inappropriate, it's against the rules." Spencer says.

"You can't tell me you guys didn't do anything. You slept in the same room two nights in a row. Even getting someone like her to like you is a miracle. Are you really going to look over it because of some dumb rule?" He says.

"Kathryn." JJ greets behind me before walking in the door. Reid and Morgan's eyes fly to where I am and I smile awkwardly. I hope they don't think I was eavesdropping. Even though I was.

Reid's face turns red and he turns away from me. There is a seat open next to him but I decide to take the one across the table. He never admitted to liking me but never denied it. He does agree that it would be inappropriately so I don't know why the thought even entered my mind.

"So we have cases of homeless and prostitutes going missing. I was contacted but an officer in Kansas City who noticed them going missing but could seem to get anyone to believe him. After a call to his chief they invited us there today." JJ explains.

"Wait, so they haven't even found any bodies?" Prentiss asks.

"Technically no. There is little to no evidence on this case but he has even convinced me they have gone missing. The amount of homeless disappearing off the streets is abnormal." She says.

I look over at Reid and we make awkward eye contact, both looking away immediately.

"What do they want us to do there, besides obviously catch the guy." Morgan says.

"Well I think they mainly want help talking to the people on the streets and just some support." Hotch says.

I nod and he tells us to be ready by tonight. There is some more paperwork to fill out but we will be leaving as soon as possible.

I now have to head home to pack a bag. I feel like we just got back from our last case. Good thing I don't mind traveling.

"Come on, Morgan! Please?" I see Reid talking to him in front of the building.

"Why don't you ask Mercer." Morgan says, getting into his car and driving away.

Reid sighs and looks at me. "What's up?" I ask, pulling out my keys.
