A loud annoying beeping sound echoed the room. It continued for about a minute before an obnoxious cat meowing sound joined in, repeating itself every other second. Only a few minutes later, once again, another sound joined, but it was not expected like the others. It was an audio message from a sweet boy that seemed all too familiar.
Phil jolted awake, throwing the covers off of himself and tripping over his feet several times before finally making his way to his phone. Quickly realizing he had forgotten to pick up his black glasses from his nightstand, he trudged back, carefully balancing them on his nose. Walking back to his phone, he turned the device off of airplane mode, expecting a message or two. None came in and Phil looked at the small printed message on his phone that read "Dan." It had an audio clip attached. He pressed play and it was just an audio of Dan Howell, a student that was in his class, talking. Phil had taken that video just to hear Dan's voice whenever he was sad. Now, however, he set it as his morning alarm as a reason to get up. Whenever he listened to it, it soothed him, and he almost wanted to just hug his phone hearing Dan's voice. Regretfully setting his phone back down, he made his way to the other side of the room to turn off his 'lion' alarm.
The alarm was just an orange cat clock that he found on Amazon that he bought and hung on his wall. It had a tail dropping down that made a small ticking noise whenever it swing from one side to the other. It made Phil happy to call the cat a lion, since that was his favorite animal, so he did just that.
Realizing there was still another alarm beeping, he rolled his eyes and stretched, doggedly walking towards it. Why do I even keep 3 alarms? He asked himself. Oh right. Because if I only had one I'd just sleep through it. He laughed thinking about the time that he'd overslept to 11 AM and his mother yelled at him for a week straight.
He smiled and spent the next few minutes deep in thought about Dan. Dan was so beautiful. His hair was so fluffy and blackish brown and it flowed so perfectly in the wind; his eyes were just so dark yet they lightened his soul so much and made him happy. Whenever Dan smiled, Phil blushed so much that he had to bite his lip to stop himself. Unicorns jumped over rainbows and butterflies attacked his stomach whenever Dan even glanced at him. The boy was so beautiful, it was just...
Phil's mother calling for him snapped him out of his trance and he hastily jogged out of his room, a bit shook from realization. Nearly tripping over himself again, he ran down the stairs.
