Phil stared unblinkingly at Dan, who seemed to be expecting an answer. He couldn't help but smile as he saw the adorable look on the younger boys dark face. He wanted to hug him so bad, to feel Dan's heart beating against his chest and to have his arms wrapped around the boy.

Without thinking, Phil blurted out, "Can I hug you?" and covered his mouth in realization to what he had said, his heart pounding from anxiety. Dan seemed surprised for a second but his face turned a bright pink as he hesitantly responded, "Sure."

Dan got up slowly and walked over, wrapping his arms around Phil and resting his head on his shoulder. Phil was so filled with shock to what had happened that it took him a few seconds to process what was going on. When he finally realized and got ahold of himself, he wrapped his arms back around the younger boy, who seemed to be happy to hug him. It only lasted a few seconds though, and Dan slowly let go, Phil doing the same. It was a regretful moment, but he didn't notice too much because he was so happy from holding on to Dan.

They both just kind of awkwardly stared at each other for a bit but eventually Dan broke his gaze to go back and sit on the ground and finish assorting the items.

"So, do you want to play Smart Ass?" Dan looked back up at Phil as he crouched to join Dan. Sitting down, he looked at the younger boy and raised an eyebrow.

"Play what?" He asked, pushing back dirty thoughts.

"Oh, it's a board game. I'm quite classic and I have a lot of shit like that." He said, beginning to carefully open the black box.

"Oh sure, s-sounds like fun." Phil stuttered.

"He's so fucking hot" Phil muttered, only realizing afterwards how loudly he had spoken. His face turned red as Dan looked up from shuffling his cards and broke a small smile.

"What?" Dan said, seemingly not knowing what Phil had said.

"Oh, what nothing I" Phil tried to think of something to say but nothing came out.

"Oh alright." The younger boy just dismissed it. Maybe he didn't hear. Maybe.

Hopefully not.

Phil sighed.
