It was at least 15 minutes until Phil's hair was absolutely perfect, meaning he had 15 minutes to do anything.

Of course, he spent that time searching up how to kiss someone.

Phil was 99.999% sure he wouldn't need it, but his reasoning was based off of that 0.001%, which he lowkey put hope in.

When he was scrolling through, he learned a lot more than he thought he would.

No, he wasn't going to need that. Dan and Phil were barely even friends.

Closing out his tabs, he realized it was 5 minutes until Dan was to pick him up.

Phil ran into his bathroom at full speed and quickly sprayed on deodorant and brushed his teeth, just in case.

At that point, he was running on 3 minutes and so he decided to go down and wait for Dan outside. He made his way down the stairs carefully and shoved his phone into his pocket, sighing. Phil glanced outside, quickly noticing that it was raining, so he grabbed a black umbrella and walked outside slowly.

Everything around was foggy, almost as if a cloud was passing through the city, and he could feel the moisture in the air sticking to his clothes. His hands were already getting damp. No wind was present, and he walked farther outside. The rain began to drop down more slowly and the moisture in the air felt refreshing in his lungs with each breath. His entire body just felt so relaxed and the street was covered in puddles that continued growing by the second.

The rain had almost died down completely when he heard a faint sound in the distance. Sure enough, it grew louder, and he felt his heart race. His body trembled, and a shiver went down his spine.

A black car slowly pulled up nearby, and Phil slowly started walking towards it. Once he'd gotten close enough to clearly see the car, Phil saw a boy standing outside in tight clothes, looking at him expectantly with his dark eyes.

Phil felt everything inside of him go absolutely insane at that moment. He looked at Dan. His hair had a dark fringe that lined his forehead perfectly. His skin was pale against his dark car and he was wearing a gray long sleeved gray jacket. Everything about Dan just made his heart skip a beat.

The younger boy beckoned Phil and he walked slowly towards the other side of the car. Carefully wrapping his fingers around the door handle, he opened the car door and wiped the droplets that had covered the frame and gotten on his hand off. He sat down on the dark leather seat and felt his anxiety rise as Dan had also opened his car door and was getting in. Dan slammed the door shut along with Phil and started the car up again.

"Hey," Dan finally said, and Phil's heart was beating so loud he could swear that the younger boy could hear it by now.

"Hey," Phil replied, his voice cracking as he spoke.

Phil kind of just stared at Dan and Dan just stared back, but broke the gaze to start driving.

They didn't say much, although Dan looked over at Phil occasionally while driving. It was a peaceful silence, and Phil sighed, fogging the glass up. He gently touched the glass, and started drawing cat whiskers.

It was peaceful and all Phil could hear was the silent rumbling of the car as it moved, the occasional sigh of Dan, and the rain silently hitting the window.
