It's always fun to have school the day after something bad happens.
Note the sarcasm.

Just freaking kidding.

I feel like I just lost a part of me.
I wasn't even dating him. I didn't even know him for half of a year.

That's bad, I just met him the other month or so.

To be honest I don't even remember, I can't think straight. My head isn't screwed on right, right now.

It's all fucked up.

Remember what I told you about no matter what- everyone leaves you at some point, intended or not?

ONE  of many examples, is me.

This is why you always keep your heart guarded. Because little fucks like Cooper does this shit.

I slammed my locker, roughly pushing my locker combination together, and yanking it down to make sure it's locked.

"Are you alright?"

I heard Reagan's voice call behind me.

"Do you think I am?"
"oh, do I hear your bitch in your sentence?"

"Reagan."  I warned.

"Chill out, I'm kidding. What happened?"

I filled her in on what happened, and she sighed.

"I don't understand why he's such a douche to you, you're his mate..."

"Or maybe he lied."

There was a moment of silence before she spoke up, "And apparently moved on, to that chick from last week."

My heart throbbed. Daniella.

I kept my gaze on the floor.

"You need to move on, if he's already magically moved on, you do too. Because I'm not watching this shit go down."

"How? I fell for him, and I fell hard.."

"Just forget about him, look he's already making out with her. If you meant something, he wouldn't be doing that."
Ouch, that hurt.

She was right, if he moved on, then so should I. I need to stand by my word about not being the rebound girl.

I sniffled, "Okay,"

--

"Daniella, sto-o-o-p."

I heard for the millionth time in gym.

Little miss perfect, switched all her damn classes to Cooper's. As she told the coach, "Alpha's orders".

I felt obligated to sneer at that comment, but I contained myself.

I just shifted my attention to Reagan.
'Stay calm, I can hear your heart beat pick up. He can hear it too, and he knows it's bothering you. So calm yourself, or he'll know he's getting to you.'

I nodded, taking deep breathes.
Move on, Estella.. He doesn't need you, and you don't need him.

I shoved him and his little friend to the back of my mind.

"Hey Estella? Is this seat taken?" A voice shot me back into reality.

My head snapped forward to the deep voice.
