I had ran back to the house as fast as my little legs could take me.

Man, I need to run more often.

I burst through the door and everyone was in panic.

Okay, this only adds on to the distress.

An elder ran up to me in a hurry, with sweat shining brightly on his face, "Lun- Estella! We're under a vampire attack! We need to put you into safety along with the others!"

How the hell? Vampires? Did I seriously take 2 hours to get back?

I was pushed forward and I started to become shaky.

What's going to happen to Cooper? The pack?

I thought vampires only existed in the movies?

"Yeah, well. Humans think werewolves only exist in movies with and books."

Oh, right.

The elder carefully led me down a staircase that spiralled down what seemed like for ages.

The heavy, metal door slammed shut behind us and a click from the other side could be heard.

The elders had taken over, and they were barking orders left and right.

The children were shaking, and their mothers were trying to soothe them. It was no use. As soon as they had calmed down the elders only yelled louder.

This is really starting to annoy me.

"Okay! That's enough! Elders, please sit down and be quiet. You're not helping this situation! Be calm, the children are shaken up and you're only stirring the pot. Higher ranks, guard the doors. Elders, keep your ears up for any noises. And parents keep soothing your children. If they hear us, who knows what will happen." I let out a puff, and kept in a laugh. They were stunned. They didn't think I had a backbone. I sat down massaging my head, trying to avoid a headache.

"And if we don't?"

I shit you not, their were no noises, talking, nothing going on after that was spoken.

I craned my neck to find the voice.

Ah, an elder.

My wolf stirred, not liking the disrespect.

"The vampires will attack us, because of your stubbornness."

One of the higher ranked wolves grabbed the elder and took him to another room.

"The Alpha will hear about this."

----

It's been two weeks since I've last seen Cooper.

It's been two weeks since the children has seen their fathers.

It's been two weeks since the women has seen their mates.

We're running out of food down in the cellar, basement, attic... Whatever you call it.

The adults have barely eaten so their children could.

My wolf has been down in the dumps. And so has everyone else.

What if I never see Cooper again?

The elders were murming amung themselves, and the mothers were keeping their children quiet. We were all afraid of what's next.

We're afraid of the future.
