@Lightning_wizard A/n: Sorry that it took so long, had a few different stories backed up.
Sam's POV
I don't think you realize how weird it is having a second entity living inside of your body. Its weird enough that they are a creeper who feels the urge to pat down my body and feel my crotch, but the fact that they are really nothing more than a cursed mask, makes it Extra creepy.
Maybe I should explain. When I grabbed Momus' staff, he made his old vessel let go and have his soul transferred to me. I was Not, however, transferred to the dead body. I was the equivalent of being mentally pushed into a locker. I could still see kinda, and I could hear most of what was going on, but other than that, I couldn't do much.
So, Momus went around, showing me off like a new pony to a bunch of different gods whose names I can't remember. What I distinctly remember is that Erebus was Pissed when Erebus came home wearing my body and that Chronos himself was upset that the group freed Hades. I don't know how long I was trapped in that metaphorical locker, but I know that I didn't just sit there quietly, I fought back as much as I could.
At first, I was just a nagging at the back of his head, but then I started being able to trip him. After that, I could momentarily gain control over a leg or an arm and hit him at random points. After that, I could gain control over the entire body for a second or two, not enough to really do anything important, but enough to make him annoyed. When that started to happen, I really started to have some fun.
~~^--^~~ Momus' POV
I hate it when vessels get testy. Usually, I go for weaker vessels that I train to become better fighters, but no. I had to choose one of the strongest vessels that has ever been given the privilege to wear me. And instead of being good and behaving, he had to prove to be a most annoying little pest.
At first it wasn’t much, just a headache or two. Then he started taking control of different parts of my vessel. You have no idea how annoying it is to be walking through hallways, tripping and getting hit every few minutes. All of a sudden, he took control of the vessel for a second or two. Soon enough, I would start blacking out in one place and waking up in another a few minutes later. Thankfully, there was no possibility of him contacting anyone or hindering the plan. Still, it was more than I could handle.
So, I got a private room, and started meditating. I dove into my mind and brought him along. Once, I thought that we were deep enough, I opened the metaphorical locker that I shoved him in and tied him to a chair made in my head.
“So you finally let me out. What’s the occasion?” He said, sass coating his voice. I hit him across the face. He coughed a bit before looking at his feet. I grabbed the back of his hair and made him look at me.
“ I am here to break you. You’ve been a thorn in my side ever since I took over your body. No more.” He chuckled as I let go of his hair.
“Please, this is nothing. I’ve been through worse interrogations than you will ever dream of.” He smiled nostalgically, looking back at his feet. “Reilly made sure of that.” Suddenly, an idea popped up.
“I see. So, no torture I try will work, huh? Well, I’ve been at this a while, so I know a few tricks. If things in the present don’t affect you, then what about your past.” He stiffened, eyes going wide, his gaze not moving. I chuckled, putting my hands on either side of his head. “Now, let’s see just what makes that head of your’s tick.” Memories long dormant came rushing back to him, now showing themselves to me.
At first, it was only flashes, his favorite game in the Lotus Casino, Chronos urging him out the door, a few faces of dirty but smiling people, a great battle, an empty world. All of a sudden, a memory popped up and showed its full contents to me.
