Hollow scream

"Thank god you guys are alright!" Christa said with her angelic voice, single tear coming across her cheek. We all stared at her like she was a god.

A godess.

"God damn." I muttered to myself. We all got on our horses, and followed Christa to the forest.

So many trees. I didn't think the forest would be like this, but it looks like a maze. You might as well can get lost once you enter it. Christa started speeding up, to ride next to me.

"I-I worried about you the most!" She said in a whisper. It made my heart skip a beat. I covered my mouth with my palm, looking away from her.

"S-stop." I muttered to myself. She tilted her and asked, "E-exuse me?" I faced her for a minute and smiled nicely.

"You should have worried about Armin more. He was injured when we face... A Female Titan."

Her eyes widened, and clenched on her chest.

"S-sorry." She aplogized. I waved my left hand nervously.

"N-no no! To be honest, I actually thank you for your concern." She lightly blushed, and smiled back.

"Really? Thank goodness." She beamed with happiness.

More like thank godess XD. We found Christa's group.

"Captain, what are your orders!?" Jean said, as we stand in our salute form.

"At ease soldiers, we'll have to stay up on high ground, and don't let a single Titan come across the forest." Inaba said with a stern voice.

"YES,MAM!" We all yelled.

We met our other friends all ready in formation.

"Renzo! You're alive!" Connie exclaimed. I gave him a smile.

"Just barely. Where's Sasha?" I asked. They usually stick together.

"With Mikasa." I nodded, and got in formation with Christa. I didn't want to be in full tension the whole time. Thank god Reiner and Connie are next to us.

On my other side, it's captain Inaba and the others.

So, we all waited.

Full of quiet. It was peaceful, yet quiet.

I looked right in back of me.

If only I was stationed with the Commander and the others.

"A-ano! Inaba?" The captain let out a "Hmm" and took her gaze to stare at mines.

"So, are you we going to stay here all day?" She looked back at the view right in front of her.

"If that's the case. There's a traitor. The one who burned those experiments? Ring a bell?"

I looked down to the ground. Of course, Ness and some others were talking about it.

"He or she can be with us right now, or perhaps with the others. Rumors has it that the person is like a Titan... Similiar like Eren Jäger."

Aka the Female Titan.

That's why... That's why the commander Erwin asked each and every person that question.

"Who do you think is responsible for this?"

"I understand now." I replied, and our little conversation ended.

Either way, I'm just a rookie. I let out a sigh, and rest my back against the bark.

"I want to go home." I muttered. I really just wanted to see Annie.

I look at Christa, finding a resemblence of her.

Wondering what's she doing. Maybe dining with the king, beating up some thugs, or who knows what they do at Wall Sina.

"Aberrant spotted!" A soldier yelled. My thoughts were interrupted, and I took my gaze at the monster. It was walking in a weird way.

I kind of smile to myself. A fab Titan XD

But my funny thoughts stopped when I realized more where coming our way. It wasn't going into the forest, it's trying to get us.

6-class meter tried to chew down our tree. It made Christa tumble, and she slipped. Luckily, I grabbed her hand in time.

I struggled to get her up on her feet, but made her collasped on top of me.

"S-sorry!" She said getting herself up, and extend a hand at me. I let out a groan, and took it.

"Your welcome."

The little one kept continuing to put us down.

I had enough of this. I grabbed clean set of blades, and was about to kill it.

"Wait! Hold your position!" Inaba yelled. I let out a 'Tch' and put them back.

"What are we suppose to do then, if we're just going to wait here?"

"Stay." I rolled my eyes, and gave up. The Titan stopped. I look down to see him climbing?

How can they do that? It looked at Christa and I angry. An angry troll -_-?

"T-that's impossible." Christa muttered. She suddenly gripped on me.

It felt awkward. But, I decided to be nice, and wrapped my arm around her shoulder.

"It'll be alright." I muttered. "If anything happens, I'll take care of you... even if it means death." I added, she flushed even more, and hugged me tighter.

Titans learned by theirselves, so as captain Ness said during our training. Their like humans.

Humans, huh?

Suddenly, a huge gust of wind came at us. I heard a scream. A cry for help?

I don't think it was a animal scream, or anything. It had to be... The Female Titan.

I stood there, not even covering my ears, and heard the hollow scream coming from the Titan.

Christa gasped and point below us.

Titans were going through the forest.
