Race: scary movie night!

Spot: Whose place?

Race: Jack's I think

Spot: do you know what movie we're watching, yet?

Race: didn't tell us

Spot: I'm busy tonight so next time

Race: WHAT? You are coming tonight or else it won't be as fun

Race: come on, please

Spot contemplated the offer. Believe it or not, when he gets caught off guard he screams like a girl. The only times he attends their scary movie nights are when he knows the movie. He does not want to seem weak by screaming like a little girl in front of everyone he knows, especially in front of Racetrack considering Spot hangs out with him the most.

But on the other hand, he is always up for anything and he really didn't have anything else to do today so he agreed. Spot arrived ten minutes late and Race answered the door. "I thought you weren't coming for a second." "You're kidding. I set my plans aside to not show up? Who does that?" Race shrugs and leads Spot into the livingroom to where he saved them seats on the couch.

Jack pops the movie in and hits play. The lights shut off and the room is pitch black. The title pops on the screen and Spot's stomach falls. He hasn't heard of it. Not to mention, movie nights are no phone zones so he couldn't distract himself. This scared him more than the movie, but he couldn't show it. He denied it and watched the movie anyways.

Everyone had screamed  at least once. Race was waiting for the only person who hasn't screamed to scream. If the movie doesn't get him, Race would. Unlike Spot, Race had seen this movie and remembered the ending. If that doesn't get him, extreme measures would be taken.

As the scene played on the screen, Spot assumed nothing else would happen, so he relaxed and let his guard down. That's when it happened. The biggest jump scare of the movie. Luckily for Spot, he had only let out a high pitched squeak, but the damage had been done. Race heard him.

He didn't say anything at the time, but someone had to speak up, "Who was that? Is Sarah here?" They shut off the movie and flipped the lights on. Everyone looked at each other as Spot pretended he wasn't the culprit. "Mush-" "It wasn't me this time!" "-Okay, calm down," Jack started investigating.

Before anyone else was suspected, Race stood up saying, "Spot and I have work tomorrow so we'll see ya around." He grabbed Spot's arm and dragged him out of the building. Spot accepted the dragging for about a block before he yanked himself away from Race, "Don't drag me." Race rolls his eyes and mumbles, "A thanks would be nice." Spot snapped, "What was that? What did you do that requires a thanks?"

Race opens his mouth to say something, changing what he wants to say before he blurts it out, "I hea- You know what? Never mind. I'm going home." Race walks away from Spot before he started yelling. Meanwhile, Spot just watched him march away while he wondered what Race did to deserve a thanks.
