Lynn Williams x Christen Press
Shipname: Willess

I wont lie to you
I know he's just not right for you.

Lynn glanced across the room to see Christen with him. That snake of a man used his handsome face and fake charm to bring her in. Disgusting is all she can say. Lynn knows him as a crook of the heart as far back as grade school, but Christen knows nothing of this. I hope she understands she's getting played. She thought. It angered her to see them together. Lynn felt that in her heart she can treat Christen better than he ever will.

She tore her gaze eye from the two and looked down at her half eaten bagel. Everything seemed unapitizing now. Lynn sighed as she stood up and went to throw her things away. As she passed their table she heard giggles erupt from Christen's lips. More than ever she wished she could have the giggles, and Christen be her's.

And you can tell me if I'm off
But I can see it on your face
When you say that he's the one that you want.

It was a camp dinner and she sat down with Christen. "Hey Chrissy," Lynn greated as she found the perfect sitting position. She felt like she had enough courage surging through her bones to confront her about him.

Christen looked up at Lynn. She was trying her best to hide her pained expression from Lynn. It wasn't working though. Her hand was placed over the side of her neck. And she was wearing very long sleeved clothing. "Hello Lynn," she croaked, avoiding eye contact.

Lynn's eyebrows rose in surprise as to how the girl responded. Usually her voice is full of life and a hint of shyness, but this is sad. "Did he do this? Chris, if he does this, please leave him."

She looked down at her cutlery before looking up at Lynn. "It was just a little fight. He's the one that I want. Which means loving him even if we do bicker." Christen let out, face turning the slightest bit of red.

"But Chris-"

"Lynn, Im fine." Christen said, roughly.

And you're spending all your time
In this wrong situation
And anytime you want it to stop

After dinner Christen quickly left the restaurant. She got a text from her boyfriend saying to get home as soon as possible. Him and his buddies are going to have a party and they wanted her there.

Of course Lynn rushed after Christen. She is afraid for her friend's well being. "Christen, anytime you want this to stop come to me! Get away from it all, this is toxic for you!"

She whipped her head around as rain started pouring down. Christen slowly made her way over to Lynn. The bruise on her neck was now visible. It was a sickly shade of blue and an almost purple color. She stood on the balls of her feet and leaned into Lynn's ear. "You are not me, you have no idea what is the best for me." Christen croaked, then she quickly hurried off to her car.

I know I can treat you better than he can
And any girl like you deserves a gentleman

Christen sat in the passenger seat of her boyfriend's car. She looked over at him from time to time. The window on his side was partially opened, letting the smoke from his cigarette drift out the window. She frowned, disgusted with his habit. Christen had always disliked the smell of the smoke. She has been able to tolerate it since her boyfriend, Will, has the occasional smoke.
