Tobin Heath x Emily Sonnett
Shipname: Tobily

Space, time, endless plains. Emily felt so alone in her apartment. Ever since Tobin left, things have been dull. There were no late night Netflix marathons, smoothie making, and no more endlessly looking at stuff on Etsy they're not going to buy. She missed her friend. As she stood up, Emily grabbed her keys. "A trip to the mailbox should be... good."

Emily exited the apartment. She jogged to the elevator and hopped in. Just as the doors were about to shut, one of the many rude neighbors stopped it. The thin, scarily beautiful woman stood next to Emily.

The lady, known as Dana Ely, took out a bottle of vodka. It was a small bottle, kind of like a fun-sized snack. Dana looked at Emily, giving her a frown. "What?" Dana snapped. "Want a bottle?"

"No! No. I'm good, I don't like drinking." LIE! Emily often drinks, and everyone knows it. The elevator dinged and she practically ran out. She reached the mailboxes and went to her's. Emily unlocked it and pulled out a rose red envelope. She read who it was from with wide eyes. "Tobin." Why can't you get send me texts like a normal person? Emily though.

Emily carefully opened the envelope. She pulled out a typed letter. It warmed her heart that Tobin took the time to send her a letter. But it was completely unneeded. She read:

Dear Emily,
I arrived safely in France. It feels amazing to be back. All of the smells are even better than the café we go to. Then again it is France! How have things been around the apartment? Have you secretly adopted a zoo? Have you guys lost a game yet?? Oh, wait, I can live stream games. And duh, it's the offseason too. Can't wait until I see you in July!
Sincerely your chill BFF,
Tobs :)
P.S - Look under my pillow on my bed.

Emily reached under Tobin's pillow. God did she feel like a child snooping around in their mother's drawers. Here fingers were met with something cold. She pulled it out and looked at it. "Awe," Emily cooed. It was a framed selfie she and Tobin took when they went to Disney a few weeks ago. The selfie brought tears to her eyes. How is she supposed to cope without her?

She rubbed her fingers on the back of the frame. And Emily oddly enough felt paper back there. She turned the frame around and pulled off the piece of paper. It was folded in half, so she opened it. Inside was what appeared to be a plane ticket taped on. Emily took off the ticket to find hand writing underneath it. It read:

Dear Emily,
Though I haven't left yet I miss you so much already. It feels like there is a whole in my body that grows by the second. I now have the confidence to tell you something that I've been meaning to for awhile. I like you, like a lot. And I really hope you return the feeling.
Oh, and look at the plane ticket. If you return the feeling, I'll see you in France!
From,
Tobin 'Toby' Heath

Emily set the paper down and looked at her plane ticket. With a happy smile she chuckled. "Looks like I'm going to France."

Author's Note: I am sorry for the length and the horrible quality of this! This oneshot was one that has been sitting here for awhile. So I just decided to publish it. I hope you enjoy it, I guess!
