Not too long ago something tragic happened to an entire region. Not only was it the city, but also in the surrounding suburbs. Especially in the surrounding suburbs. There had been several accounts of missing children. All from different areas in the region, which made it very hard for the police to find the kidnapper. No bodies were ever found so no one knew weather or not the children were still alive. No one trusted anyone. Kids rarely went outside to play and parents rarely ever went out, in fear that something would go wrong. Was anyone safe?

Alex was a 15 year old girl and a fantastic babysitter. She was took her job very seriously, which she should. She was responsible, fun and all the kids loved her. Unfortunately her services weren't needed at the time due to what was going on in the area. One day at school everyone was talking about two kids, a girl and a boy, that just went missing the past night in the next town over. Alex was horrified to know that she had looked after them long ago. She couldn't really remember what they looked like or their names because it was so long ago but she knew it had to be them.
A couple days after the two kids went missing, Alex got a call. It was parents a few streets over asking if she could watch their kids on that Friday night! Of course Alex said yes. When Friday night came around Alex got ready to go babysit. She was going to walk but her mom insisted that she got a drive. It wasn't dark yet when Alex left. The sun was just setting, giving off enough to see the many missing children posters and warnings from police hanging on mailboxes and light posts. It was probably the most depressing sight you could ever imagine!
When Alex arrived she was welcomed by some young parents. The parent's introduced themselves. "The kids just took some medication which makes them a bit loopy so don't mind them," said the mother. "There are some rules left on the counter. Nothing major." Shortly after, the parents left. Alex went to read the note. There were only a few rules about not answering the phone and that they can't go outside. But the the rule at the bottom, underlined twice, said "DON'T GO IN THE ATTIC!"
