Interwoven Hearts

A strange sound resonated around the area, like a soft tinkling bell mixed with a savagely beating drum signaling the hunt, along with a heated argument, "You're trying to kill her again!!!" a soft voiced woman shouted. "You'd kill anyone who got in your way just to hurt us!!!"
"I don't know what you're talking about," A voice asked with a hint of a smirk, "I saved them both. But if you care about her so much Shiva, then why didn't you save her?" it growled menacingly, enough to make the listener quake in terror.
"You're using this to your advantage!!! Just leave her alone!!! She has nothing to do with this!!!"
"She has everything to do with this!!!" He roared, "Those abominations shouldn't even be alive!!!"
A large hiss echoed throughout the darkness as Shiva gasped in air. "Enough!!!" a roar ripped through the area, so loud and pained that it made the listener cringe and barely drowned out the sound of a sharp blade slicing through meaty flesh. "I say to you; leave her be!!! A true man doth not lay harm to a woman nor a child!" The masculine strength of his voice sent forth a wave of leadership and comfort.
"Not just a true man, Arthur! A true Eidolon!!" a voice cried out, "You even made a vow to protect that child! Yet you would dishonor it?" The vibrancy and passion the voice exuded filled the darkness with a comforting light. "A disgrace to fire... Where is your light Ifrit?"
He growled in reply. "Filled with darkness," a gruffer voice spoke.
"Although I do not condone his actions. He is still one of us... Ifrit, you know your actions are punishable by death if you willingly proceed in killing your summoner, do you not?"
He growled once more, "Yes my King..."
"Though that is little concillation I hope you all may find some comfort in that fact," The deep soothing voice registered in the watchers mind as Bahamut the King of Eidolons.
"Thank you," Shiva said quietly.
Someone laughed mischievously "Wow! Fire and ice having to working together! This isn't going to end well!"
"Quiet, Sylph."
"I---I apologize, my king," Sylph squeaked.
"It is alright, Sylph..." He paused, "Phoenix. Fenrir."
"Yes?" the two unidentified voices from before, the listener noted.
"You all must must pool your energies to protect your summoner. Do you understand?" They agreed. "Good." The listener could hear them leaving, "Shiva?"
"Yes?"
"She will be safe."
"But I can't protect her from him like this! He'll hurt her as soon as he gets the chance!"
"You're not alone. Remember he is there with her."
She breathed in heavily, "... I know... Thank you... I just---!"
"I understand. I worry for my own whelps.
"How are they?"
He chuckled, "Faring far better than Asura I'm sure."

Voices were heard but no sense could be made, movement proved futile as well. Time seemed to slip by slowly, until she started to gradually understand the words spoken, "... Heartless, but it looks like something else as well..." a higher pitched voice said.
"They'll be alright though, won't they? Will their hearts be whole?"
"I believe so, we came just in time."
She grunted from the effort of trying to at least open her eyes, "She's waking up!" he said as they ran over to her. She managed to fully open them, but her eyes were too blurry to see anything clearly, "Are you alright?"
A croak escaped her lips as the only response, "She's still too weak."
Her body twitched slightly, "... Dark---ness..." she croaked.
"Yeah..." Riku said sadly, "Those were heartless."
"Seen... Before...?" she asked dazedly.
"Yeah, we've seen them before."
"No, I think she meant she's seen them before, right?"
"S---Sei--Seich-?" her hand closed slowly as she attempted to articulate the word.
"'Seich'!?" the second person asked anxiously, "Do you think she means---!?"
She blinked and woke slightly, "... What...? What's going on...?" she looked to see Riku and Mickey from Kingdom Hearts looking down at her.
"What were you trying to say??" Riku asked anxiously.
"... What?" she asked confused.
"She was probably still out of it," Mickey told him, Riku looked away from them pained and Mickey pat his shoulder lightly before turning to her. "I'm Mickey, this is Riku. What's your name?"
"Angie..." her eyes widened and she looked around fearfully at her unconscious friends and the missing Obadiah, even Ifrit and the hell from whence he leapt was gone. "Are they alright?" She asked crawling over to the Doctor.
"I believe they'll be fine," Mickey said.
Angie reached in the Doctor's pocket and grabbed his sonic, before scanning him. She sighed in relief, "He'll be fine."
"What is that?" Mickey asked.
"... Sonic screwdriver," she said after the name returned to her and she started scanning the others, "It can do a lot of cool things..." She rubbed her temples.
"Interesting," Mickey said as he looked over to Riku sitting silently in front of the pool. Mickey walked up to see a star float into Riku's outstreached palm.
"Paopu fruit..." he twisted it over in his hands before gazing off into the direction from which it came. After a moment he finally spoke, "We'll find them again. I know we will..."
"Yep. They're waiting for us," he replied.
"I know the keyblade guides us to other worlds but this one seems... Different..."
"I sure know what you mean," Mickey said, "It doesn't feel like the usual worlds we go to does it? It's almost like something called us here..."
"Like what?"
Mickey and Riku looked back over to Angie, "Maybe she would know?"
"Angie," Riku knelt beside her as she scanned Tony.
"Huh?"
He noticed the blank and exhausted look in her eyes, "Are you okay?"
"Tired..." she admitted.
"Do you know where we are? What is this world called?"
"... We're in the TARDIS... It's... It's like a gummi ship... But different... Bigger on the inside... Own Atmosphere..." She rubbed her head again and winced.
"Hey," Riku placed a hand on her shoulder, "Drink this," he dug a small vial out of his pocket and handed it to her, "Elixir. It'll heal you."
"Thanks," she mumbled as she uncorked the bottle and downed the contents. A warm tingling sensation spread through her body and revitalized her mind ever slightly.
"Better?" She nodded. "Earlier when you were out of it you said you'd seen the heartless before?"
She thought for a moment, "... Sort of..." Memories flashed in her mind of the dark creatures, a small glimpse of them rising from the ground every few moments like the flickering of a light in a horror movie. She shivered.
"I'm guessing this ship doesn't get to many of them?"
She shook her head, "The shields are down... Damaged... Solar Flare... Transduction beams...?" She rubbed her temples again as her headache resurfaced, "That's how everyone got here. They were sucked in. God this hurts...!" she whimpered.
"Elixir should've kicked in by now," Mickey looked her over concerned. He checked her forehead, "You don't look so well."
"... He should've found me by now..."
"What?" Riku asked.
"... He's here...! He's looking for me...! He should've...!" An image formed in her mind, "My head hurts...!" She whimpered, icy cold tears slipping down her burning face. "... So hot...!!" she gasped in air before collapsing, Riku and Mickey catching her before she hit the ground.

He sped down the halls as his pulse raced, I'm coming Kara! He tried to tell her through his heart, I'm coming as fast as I can! Please hold on! Please. Please, hold on...

"It stopped," Ichigo said. "Where do you think it went?"
"I'm not sure," Toshiro said over his communicator.

He hugged her close whilst stroking her hair, "Come on, Angie. Wake up."
"I'm so sorry..." Tony cried, "It---it's my fault!"
The Doctor shook his head, "It's alright... I've made enemies too... It's not your fault."
"Is---is she going to be alright?" Donna asked.
"Yeah... It's like her body is self-repairing," he said.
"Regeneration!?" Donna asked.
The Doctor shook his head, "No. No, almost completely different. That's what's interesting. She's self-repairing, but not like a Timelord... This is something completely new to me."
Everyone was silent until Dean asked "So those Heartless, they're everywhere?"
"They aren't everywhere yet, but they're trying to be. They keep spreading throughout the worlds and consuming them in darkness making them disappear..." Riku explained, "And as long as there is darkness in at least one heart they will never truly disappear."
"Thats scary," Luna said.
"I definitely agree!" Janet said, "So now we know there's not just our enemies and bad guys and aliens to deal with its everyone's!!" She shivered. "This is definitely not good."
"We may have many more enemies but at least we know we have many more allies as well," Billy said.
"That's true," Luna said, "And I believe that even if the bad guys out number the good guys, good guys will always win!" She smiled.
"I like this kids optimism!" Janet grinned ruffling her hair.
"Thanks!" She giggled.
"Youre welcome," she said hugging her.
"She's waking up!" the Doctor said relieved prompting everyone to go over to her.
She started opening her eyes to see the Doctor holding her close, "You're okay!" she said hugging him and crying tears of joy.
He chuckled, "I thought I'd be the one saying that."
She looked to see everyone was okay, "I'm so glad everyone's alright!" she said before burying her face in his shoulder.
"We're glad you're okay, too," Cloud told her.
"You had us worried there, kiddo," Tony said.
She smiled, "Thank you," she whispered into his shoulder.
"For what?"
"... For being my dad..."
He hugged her tighter, "You're welcome. Thanks for being my daughter..."
"... Are you sure you still want me?"
"I'll always want you. Even after I find your parents." he kissed her hair.
"I hate to break up this moment," Dean interrupted "But shouldn't we be moving? We still don't know how much time we have left to fix this thing before it explodes."
"Right. Good point," The Doctor picked up Angie in his arms and the party headed to the next level.
