Patients roamed around the local psychiatric ward as the nurses checked up on them and watched some closely than others. There was one patient in particular that was being watched closely. Her name was Ryker Davis and was recently admitted to the ward, being the hot topic because of her case. "She apparently can talk to angels." One nurse, Sarah, snickered. The group of other nurses she was conversing with laughed as well, turning their attention to the dark haired girl. Ryker sat in the corner of the main lobby, watching the other patients with little to no interest at all. She chewed nervously on her lip, feeling out of place in what she considered to be a loony bin, something she shouldn't be categorized as in her opinion.

Two weeks before

Ryker walked into her house after a long day at school. The big discussion in her history class were angels for some apparent reason and she claimed to not believe in them. She set her bag down on the beige carpet that made up her bedroom floor and collapsed onto her bed. A few minutes later, Ryker was in the state between consciousness and unconsciousness when she heard a loud crash and a flutter of wings. She shot straight up and looked around, seeing a boy around her age standing in her room. He was different though, in the aspect that he had big, white, fluffy wings that captured the entire room and her attention. Ryker was speechless and didn't know if this was real or a figment of her imagination. The boy turned around and looked at her, smiling brightly. "Hi, I'm Harry." He replied, taking a step towards her. She scooted away from him, grabbing her t.v. remote for defense.

Harry chuckled and raised an eyebrow. "A t.v. remote? Really?" He asked, letting his tongue trail across his lower lip in amusement. Ryker glared at him with the remote still in hand. "Who are you? Or more like what are you?" She asked. "I'm your guardian angel, and I heard everything you said in your history class and I just have to say that it was very hurtful." Harry stated, sniffling a bit to be dramatic. His green orbs twinkled as they bored into hers. "Guardian angel? Aren't angels supposed to be clean and pure not covered in tattoos?" Ryker fired back, smirking just a bit. "You know what? If it wasn't against my orders, I would leave you and find someone a little nicer. You're so hateful, gosh." Harry replied, shaking his head. "And my tattoos are pretty awesome, thank you." He stated, crossing his arms over his chest and sticking his nose in the air. She couldn't help but laugh at his words and decided that this was real, and honestly she would be very disappointed if it wasn't.

Hope you enjoyed it!:) -Justyce
