A new horison

"Almost there,"Rick said from the drivers seat. Next to him sat his girlfriend, Clarissa, she was working away at the music turning it up and trying to find a new song. In the back was Ruby and Scarlett. Ruby wasn't her real name but she preferred that. Next to them sat Bruce, he was poking away at his phone hoping to get a better signal.
"Are we there yet,"Scarlett asked abruptly.
"Where a few miles out,"Clarissa said."I knew we should have packed some more food, this road trip took forever." They were near the end of a long road trip they had rented a car that was to be dropped off at the airport in Vegas when they left but for the rest of the time they could drive with it as much as they wanted. The only reason they were on this road trip to begin with was because Ricks business had taken a leap and now he earned thousands of dollars a week, even when he didn't work.
"Alright well it's only a few miles and it's almost morning so I think we head for the hotel take a good amount of rest so that we're ready to party all night,"Rick seemed so excited.
"I'll just stay at the hotel,"Bruce said still playing a game on his phone.
"Nope tonight we've got two choices either we head out as a group or we split up,"Rick was already making plans as usual.
"Well what would the groups be," Scarlett asked leaning over on the back of Ricks seat. Clarissa gave her a look but didn't seem worried. Probably because Ruby and Scarlett were a lesbian couple.
"I think that you, Ruby, and Clarissa go together while me and Bruce head out,"Rick seemed eager for night to fall.
"I'm down for that shit," Clarissa spat out. After a few more minutes they finally had arrived in Vegas.
"Welcome to Las Vegas my friends,"Rick said as they made there way into the city of lights. There were people walking every where and cars that looked almost as expensive as there's, they had a McLaren P1. The amount of shops and places to visit were overwhelming but they had a month or two so they could visit all of them.
"There is so much going on,"Bruce said from the bottom of his chair. They kept going until they finally reached the hotel.
"It's under Bos,"Rick said to the woman working at the front desk. They each got a room key and headed up towards the president suite. The president suite had 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, one large living room with a kitchen built in. They made themselves at home and took a long deserved rest. By the time night fell they were up and making some lists for things they needed.
"We need food and a map of the whole region, maybe some other things but we'll see along the way," Clarissa was preparing and giving Rick a list.
"Okay so we're doing the group idea and also take this city map to find your way back,"Scarlett gave Brayden a map and he immediately took a picture of it but kept the map anyway.
"See you soon,"Clarissa gave Rick a kiss and headed out the door.
