I'm one of them now

Rick could barely see. His vision was blurry and he could make out one figure amongst all the rest. Clarissa was overtop him tending to his wound. She had a degree in medical treatment so she knew her way around medical supplies and wounds. She had found several medkits in the small store. To her right we're Bruce, Ruby, and Scarlett. Scarlett was sitting on the counter, Bruce was looking a Clarissa and admiring her work. Ruby was staring at the ground, her face was a flurry of emotions and her mind was doing a million things at once. She was mumbling and Scarlett could only hear faint words.
"But..... thought........ right......... Scarlett okay........ never okay......... Rick...... Clarissa...... death." The last word stung in Scarlett's brain for sometime and she soon lost notice of the world as she drifted into her thoughts.
"Shit," her dream state was disturbed by loud scratching and tearing at the boarded up doors by several dozens of lingered.
"We need to get out of..... god fuck," Rick was struggling to get up but Clarissa forced him to stay down.
"If you get up your wounds will open up and I'll have to do this all over again with nothing." Clarissa's voice was demanding.
"Well what are we going to do, we can't just leave, we can't stay here, Rick can't go anywhere," Bruce's voice educational and stubborn.
"What's your idea Bruce," Scarlett got off the counter and right in front of him.
"I say we go climb up the ladder in the back, leaving Rick behind," Bruce headed off to te back before a voice stopped him.
"If Rick stays here, I'm staying here," Clarissa had stood up with ricks arm around her ankle for support.
"Look if we stay here we die and rick is already about to die so we might as well get it of here while we have the chance,"Bruce was becoming angry, his hands had balled up into fists.
"I can...ugh.. do this," Rick stood up hands at his side using Clarissa and the wall to support his weight. Clarissa motioned for him to lay down and he did as she asked.
"Fine if you won't go then the three of us will, Scarlett, ruby," neither of them said anything just stayed where they were and didn't move a muscle. "You know what I'll go on my own," Bruce pulled down the ladder and climbed up and they could hear him drop outside with all the lingered following him. They sat there in silence when suddenly they heard a scream, was to female to be Bruce. They crowded around the window to see Bruce fighting several of the lingered and a women not much younger than Bruce standing behind him with a face of pure fear. They barged out the door, Clarissa helped rick into the gun store while the others helped Bruce take down the rest of the lingered.
"Everyone here good now look around, see if you can find anything useful," Clarissa took charge. She stayed with rick pulling up his shirt to check the wound when she noticed so weird black goop forming around the wound.
"GUYS COME QUICK," Clarissa screamed

Sorry I haven't written anything in a while, but I'll get more regular about it, also I will be implementing stuff into these characters which is related to stuff that I based these characters off of so look forward to some interesting stuff that will happen.
