One friend for another

"I am saving millions of people from dying. I am making Vegas and all the world a better place. And look what you did. You were so caught up in everything else that tried to kill me again and again and again. I'm so done with it. You have to understand now. All these people are alive and why because I helped them. And now look at what you've done." Rick was screaming words at Ruby while she cried. Ruby stares down and cried, no struggling, just acceptance. She wanted to fall. She knew a fall from this height would kill her. She felt guilty. She pushed herself off of rick, but he grabbed her again. Ruby noticed the blackness shrink from Ricks body. She noticed bullet holes in his chest as black blood spewed out at immense speeds. Ricks eyes turned completely black his wings fell off and they fell together. Rick slowly dying and Ruby staring at her old friend. They reached the roof of the building, well Ruby did at least. Rick had missed the whole building and kept falling. He landed on the ground, dead? The group helped Ruby up. They all ran towards the edge of the building and looked down at rick. Something was wrong. They saw movement. The lingering ran towards rick with immense speed as he rose. His body expanding as it turned nearly transparent black. He became deformed. He grew horns and more arms. His legs were like that of a sayter. He looked up and his eyes were a glowing black void. The lingered fused with his body growing his size until he could grow no more. He placed a massive hand on the side of the building and stood up. He climbed his all the way to the top in a matter of seconds. They saw something. Rick was inside the creature slumped very slightly, his arms and legs contracted together. There was nothing for a while. The creature and the group stared at eachother.
