Ricks eyes were shut tight he was worried that suddenly he would turn into the incredible deformed hulk. He slowly opened them, while letting them adjust for a moment he could faintly see that the others were all fine but there eyes were closed as well. He couldn't move and he felt something around his waist. He looked down to see a pair of arms around his waist holding him tight. He turned his head to Clarissa, her eyes were closed tight and she had a worried expression on her face as he chin dug into Ricks shoulder.
"Clarissa, Clarissa open you eyes we're fine, we're all fine." Ricks voice was calm and soothing, he was trying to comfort her. She slowly opened them, blinking a few times then taking a look at everyone else. Ruby and Scarlett were embracing each other. Scarlett couldn't look happier and Ruby looked almost exactly the same. Bruce was a against the wall, his head between is knees and hands over his head. Rick gave Bruce a few taps on top of his head and then shook him around a bit. Clarissa started poking Scarlett's sides, when Scarlett could see then she started poking Ruby just to annoy her.
"Alright now that we all know were all alive and not some disgusting freak of nature, what do you say we stretch and get out of our safe space." Scarlett got up as soon as Rick said stretch, the others followed he lead. Nothing much seemed different, the only that was different was the sky. The green dome now encased all of Vegas, but it ha stopped spreading. The stretched their soar bodies and then proceeded to walk around their hotel room. Literally nothing had changed, lights were on, food was in the same place, they though they were in the clear. For the second time that night Bruce stepped out onto the balcony and stared with wide eyes down to the street. The others came outside and followed his glare, the to got the wide eyes. Down on the street then saw several dozens of black figures walking around the dark streets of Las Vegas. The looked human, but most of their bodies were slumped over, black goo dripped from their slow bodies. They had eyes pure red, their mouths had long sharp teeth, their hands had claws.
"GUYS, there's a survivor down there. "They followed Ruby's finger to a small store were a man had just come out with paranoid look running across the street. Several of the weird people followed behind him fairly fast, the were close behind him and gaining. The man kept running, but one of the creatures leaped into the air and stuck onto his back pinning him down. Sharp claws and teeth impaled him in all his major muscle groups. Paralyzed the man began to cry and scream as his body was cut open bit by bit. His intestines hug out of his body and on the floor. But than the strangest thing yet happened, the man who lay dead, his body was slowly engulfed with black goop and now he to was one of the lingering corpses.
