Chapter 33

Aria's POV-

"We are going on a holiday! We are going on a holiday!!" Junior screamed as he ran upstairs and downstairs again and again. He was all excited about going on a holiday and specially that he will get to spend time with his Dad. We were all set to leave the house. I tried to tell them that I will go back to hostel, it was not a big deal. But Mrs. Aveiro and junior didn't listen and so I finally decided to go. Mr. Ronaldo didn't tell much about where he was taking us. He said it's a surprise and that we should just relax. We all had our guess in where he was taking us. Junior said we are going to Disney Land, Mrs. Aveiro said that we must be going to someplace cold and I said maybe we are going some place warmer and relaxing. It was only then when Mrs. Aveiro started packing warm clothes for Junior, he said that we won't be needing those. So we knew where we were heading to.

First we were going to the airport and then we were going to board the plane. I was very excited that I was going out of country after I came here. Mom and me didn't traveled much after dad died. We used to go someplace nearby. When we reached airport I got to know that we were going by a private plane. He owned a private plane! Ofcourse he had his own plane. The journey was quite. Junior sat beside me. We were having fun until both of us fell asleep. After few hours the pilot announced that we will be landing shortly. When I saw out of the window, I saw a beautiful view. A big, blue ocean and there a small island. We were going to have fun.

Everyone had their own room in the resort. My room was big and spacious. It was beautiful with pale lavender interior. And my favorite part was the big windows that showed the scenic view of the sea. I could here the sound of the waves splashing around. Large coconut trees were surrounding the area. What a beautiful place to sit and read your favorite book, along with a mug of coffee, I thought. The introvert in me smiled. We all decided to rest for the day as we all were very tired.

Around 5pm I woke up from a very refreshing sleep. I took a shower, changed my clothes and went out to see if there is someplace I can get a quick snack. There were many restaurants in the resort. But I wanted someplace calm and relaxing. I went to the front desk.

"Excuse me."

"Yes Mam, how can I help you?" The girl in the front desk politely asked.

"Do you know any place where I can get a cup of coffee." I asked.

"Yes Mam, there is a cafeteria right in front of the pool. You can go there. I'll ask someone to show you the way." She replied.

"Thank you."

The café was a small, warm place smelling of coffee. I went inside to sit on a cosy chair near the window. Outside in the swimming pool people were enjoying the water. Dads were teaching their children swimming while moms were watching them and smiling. Some were enjoying the warm rays of sun.

"Hello! What can I get you?" Someone asked me. I looked up to see a beautiful,cheerful face of a girl. She had a beautiful tan skin, warm brown eyes and wavy black hair. I got positive vibes from her. She smiled. "What would you like to have Mam?" She asked again.But I didn't decide what to order. So I instantly started looking in the menu.

"I'll have a umm.."

"Hahaha don't worry mam. Take your time to decide." She said.

"A cup of hot coffee please and umm"

"You should try our grill cheese sandwich. Dan makes them amazing. I love it. I'll tell Dan to put some extra cheese in yours." She winked.

"Alright I'll have that." I gave her a small smile which she returned. I started reading a book that I carried with me and Within few minutes, she was back with my coffee and sandwich. She placed my order on the table.

"Enjoy and please let me know if you need anything." She said. Then someone called her.

"Lisa you can leave now if you want. There are hardly any customers."

"Ok Dan. See you on Monday." She said.

I looked everywhere and saw that by now I was the only one left in the café. I decided to quickly finish my food.

"It's OK. You can take your time." She said. Sitting on the other chair. " And plus the cheese sandwiche needs extra attention. " she said. I nodded.

"I'm Lisa. You don't mind me sitting here with you, do you?"

"No, not at all. I'm Aria." I said.

"Nice name Aria. I work here. So you here for holidays?"

"Yes."

"Well there are many things you can do, you could go enjoy sunset on the beach or you can do all the water sports. Oh and there is scuba diving also. Trekking and rock climbing. You name it and you'll find it here. I am sure you'll love it." She said. I took the last bite of my sandwich, which was beyond perfection. It was so tasty.

"Oh I am not much of adventure kind of person. And I am afraid of water and besides I don't have a boyfriend to go with to enjoy the sunset." I said. I reached in the purse to pay for the food. She got up.

"Oh you don't need to pay. You are living in the penthouse right? So everything for you is complementary."

"Oh."

"Now get up. We need to leave now." She said.

"What? Where are we going?"

"I'm taking you to see the sunset. Cuz apparently you don't need a boyfriend to enjoy the sunset." She said, dragging me out of the café.
