Chapter 34

Aria's POV-

I was waiting for my breakfast along with Lisa near the beach. The sun was shining brightly. The warmth was so relaxing that I could live here for rest of my life. Soft wind was blowing with a hint of saltiness. I was wearing my favorite white sundress and let my hair loose so they were playing with the wind. I couldn't believe that I was actually near the sea and enjoying a proper holiday. I breathed in the fresh air.

"Well someone looks so happy today." Lisa said from side. I giggled and nodded. Lisa and I became friends very fast. She was so fun to be with. She took me to places within resort that were so much fun. She took me to bowling and I must say I really enjoyed it, though I was not a good player to be honest. There was a spa too and she promised me to take there soon as one of her friends were working there. She told me that we could get special package too. She was friends with almost everyone here. Maybe it's because of her friendly personality that everyone liked her company. And today she decided to take me to eat breakfast at a little café outside, her friend owned the little place. It was nice and almost full. We had to wait for few minutes before we got the table. Once we were settled down; David, her friend came to greet us.

"Hey kiddo! Long time no see Girl. How you been?" He said with a smile. He was a cheerful man probably in his 40's with warm blue eyes and a bright smile.

"I'm fine David. Caught up in work you know. But you already know that I can't live without the amazing food you cook." She said and got up to give him a hug, which he returned.

"Who is the young lady here. Hello dear I'm David." He said looking at me, and held out his hand.

"David meet my friend Aria. She is here for vacation. Aria, this David. I told you about him." She introduced us. I got up to shake his hand but instead got a warm hug from him.

"Nice to meet you Aria. Please have a seat both of you." And we did.

"So what would you like to have today?" He asked.

"Nothing can compare to the chocochip pancakes with a crispy edge. We'll have that and add two strawberry smoothie please." She said. I had already told her that she can order for me.

"Coming right up!" He said and went inside humming a song.

"Such a nice man. He really helped me alot when I moved in here." She said. She was looking stunning in her shorts and black T-shirt. Her hair were settled on her shoulder from one side in a thick braid. She didn't need any makeup.

"So...what's your story?" She asked me, sipping on her drink. Oh it's pretty bore actually if you must know,

"Nothing! Got few days off from college so here I am. Enjoying the sun." I said. She chuckled.

"No no no sweetie. That's what you are doing now. I want to know about YOU. Not your life." She said.

"Like look at me, I'm half Indian half British. Mom dad loved me alot but it was traveling that showed me the real world. They both are travel addict and that's why when I told them about my decision of moving out they happily agreed. So here I am enjoying my life. I've been to many places, I've had so much fun. Whenever I feel like moving I just pack my bag and leave. I met so many wonderful people around the world. And I can happily say that I've enjoyed each and every day of my life." She continued. I was amazed by her life. She smiled her beautiful smile.

"That is....that is very amazing. I wish I could say the same but no...my life wasn't that easy. I....I had a rough past. I've been in the dark for a lot of time and now I want to start my life again. That's what I am trying to do. And it's hard but I am trying... I am trying my best to get out of that dark place." I said. I could feel my heart getting heavy, tears filled my eyes. Lisa put her hand on my own.

"Hey it's ok dear. I don't know about your past but I know that you are trying. And besides you are strong girl; keep your head up princess, if not then crown falls." She said. I wiped my tears and smiled. She gave me a hug.

"Oh here it comes. Our delicious food!! Just wait and you'll fall in love." She said. And boy it sure did look fantastic. And so we enjoyed the food and had a quality time.
