4:30 AM.
Thats when it is. 4:30 AM.
4:30 AM and we are sitting here talking about headmaster Meerah, and witchcraft.
What even.... nevermind.

"Well I say we leave." Avery says. "What? She tried to kill me. I want payback, at least a little.." Sarah whines. "Wait, are you suggesting we try to kill her?! No way!" Brooke says.
"Why not?" Sarah keeps whining. "She deserves it!" "We don't even know if you are telling us the truth!!" Avery points out. "I mean, I do doubt it, but you could be lying to us."
"What if we test that?" I ask.
"How?! Do you happen to have a polygraph or an MRI scanner  in your pocket?!" Brooke nearly yells.
"I'm empathic, idiots. I can tell when people are lying. Duh!" I rip off the bracelet I had forgotten I was wearing and am suddenly flooded with emotion. Whoah. I manage to pick specific ones out for specific people. "Well? The woman tried to kill me! Im not lying!"

She isn't.

"Nope. You're right." I put my mind to it and can barely sense the emotions anymore. I have mostly numbed the feeling, and thank god I did. I set a candle made of pure light in between the group as I hear a knock at the door. "I'll get it." Brooke says. Who could it be at 4:30 in the morning? She opens the door slightly and it swings fully open as she is pushes back. Its.. headmaster Meerah. She waves an arm and we all teleport to a lakeside area, secluded.
At 4:30 in the morning.
Everyone around me is shivering, even the headmaster looks a bit chilly but I don't mind the slight low temperature. I stare at her dead eyes as she looks us all over. I rush over to Brooke and help her up. These are my friends. The headmaster pushes us all back with some force I can't begin to describe.
"Well now that you all know.. time to die. But don't worry. Death is not final." She teleports to the middle between us. "I know that firsthand." I look her in the eyes and see the emptiness. She's pale too, almost like..

Okay, creepy dead person in the- oh wait we aren't in the school anymore.
Oh dear.
She pulls a flask out of her pocket and prepares to throw it. As she pushes it forward in the air I blind her with light and it goes way off mark, into the water. The water turns a sickening green.
At 4:30 in the morning.
She turns to me and I help Brooke up, who quickly runs off saying, "Be right back, i'll get backup!" I assume she means animals, but what is a fluffy bunny or a bluejay going to do to an evil magician?! Whatever. A rock whacks the Head.. in the head. Many, many more, in a line and right on mark. She puts up her and and they deflect, bouncing so far that the rocks backfire almost all the way back to Avery, who is invisible. Sarah pushes shadow into her face, and I combine it with light to create.. I'm not sure, but looking at it hurts. Imagine it being in your face.. yikes. Meerah waves her hand at it, drowning it mostly away and turns her attention to Sarah, who is hard to attent to because she keeps teleporting out of sight each time she is spotted. I meanwhile blind Meerah again and she teleports to a different area, where Sarah accidentally teleports next to and gets pushed down, hard. Meerah uses the same force as earlier to push me into the lake (now seemingly poisonous) and I shut my eyes in fright. I land on something hard, and coldish, but it doesn't hurt. I cringe, knowing I landed on the water, so why am I not drowning in poison? I open my eyes to see ice. Lots of it. The area of the lake that I landed on has a large patch of ice right in the middle. This is scientifically and logically impossible, what the hell?! And if it's ice, shouldn't it feel colder? I stand up and step onto the edge of the strange patch of ice, seeing random things thrown telepathically at the confused, shadow engulfed Meerah who still seems not to be breaking a sweat, while Sarah and Avery are struggling. I push my hand out to see more ice form on the lake. This.. is impossible. Not only do I already have two powers, but this is a major power. I wave my hand and cover around half of the lake in ice. ..wow okay this makes so much sense right now.... not! I slide on the ice over to Meerah and knock her over, embedding an icicle into her head. She looks at me, shocked, as Avery and I push the icicle through her head and out the other side. There is now a massive, gaping hole in her head. I put light inside it, trying to burn it out. Its disgusting, but its also really frightening because there is literally no blood. I see a blur on the edge of the forest as I hit land again. Meerah turns to me very slowly. She then proceeds to, with a giant gaping hole through her brain, force me into the lake again, only for me to be stopped by more ice.
"Ice." I say loudly.
Sarah looks at me.
"Ice.. yeah."
Avery nods, and Brooke peers out from the forest shocked. I cover Meerah's feet in ice so she can't walk, and everyone attacks her. Sarah and I blind her combined, Sarah puts some shadow in her brain to confuse her, Avery throws rocks at her and I throw ice, and Brooke emerges from the trees with a large group of bears, large birds, and a tiger and a panther.
She's dead.
She screams as she just... disintegrates into poison.
She's just gone. Just like that,
...at 4:30 in the morning.
