There's a girl in the darkness
She's waiting to be released
The beast inside of her waits
Ready to pounce
Black tails shredding at the seams
Holding her fragile body together
Her mind is a kaleidoscope of horrors
Twirling and hissing at the light
But she longs to be set free
As her beauty holds hope
But her eyes hold no beauty
They are empty
She feels no grief
No pain
No happiness
And she longs for the beast
To tear her body apart
Leaving her bare
To the world
So she wouldn't have to sit here waiting
In the darkness
The only thing left
That truly understands her
