"Ahhh, what?"
Damian looked around, he was in someone's bed. This place was not familiar at all. There were guns and ammo lined up on the walls.
He got up and quietly walked out, he didn't know whose house he was in yet.
He saw movement and he immediately threw a small ninja star he kept in his pocket at it. The figure dodged it.
"AHH, what the hell demon?!"
"Todd?"
"Yes, why did you throw a freakin ninja star at me?!", said Jason, pretty pissed.
"Well I didn't know if it was you, that still wouldn't have changed anything though, and I didn't know if you were hostile," replied Damian, arrogantly.
"Anyways Todd, why am I here?", asked Damian.
"I don't know, you tell me. I found you in an alley, sleeping," said Jason.
"So, so, you you brought me hhere," said Damian, stuttering. He thought Todd hated him. Nobody had ever done something that kind for him.
"Don't act surprised, demon, Bruce doesn't want another Robin dying," said Jason.
"Oh, your efforts to help me were... acceptable," said Damian, returning to his usual bratty self.
"Welcome," muttered Jason.
On cue, Damian's stomach grumbled.
"Don't worry I have food in the kitchen,"
"Ok," they both walked to the kitchen.
"Holy shit," muttered Damian.
Jason had prepared scrambled eggs, toast, hash browns, and waffles. It looked quite elegant.
"Yah, Alfie taught me how to cook," said Jason, staring at Damian's astonished face.
"I mean, it looks presentable," said Damian, changing his expression to his stone face one. Jason just smirked at him.
They both sat down and started to eat.
"Sooo, are you gonna tell me why I found you in an alley," said Jason
"No," replied Damian.
"You have to tell me," Jason said, sighing.
"It's none of your business, Todd", said Damian.
"Well it is now, considering I'm letting you stay at my place and eat my food. I could kick you out just as easily as I got you in, demon spawn," said Jason. Of course he wouldn't kick him out, but he just needed to scare the little brat.
Damian's face became still with fear for a second, he didn't want to go back home and he had no money, so he needed Jason's place.
"Fine, if you must know, I had a fight,"
"With who, Bruce,"
"No, someone else," said Damian, waking out the kitchen and sitting on the couch.
Jason sighed, he knew the little brat would tell him what happened when he was ready.
"So, what do you want to do demon," said Jason.
"I don't know, father makes me study and spend my day training, and the nights patrolling," said Damian.
Jason sighed,"Have you ever done anything fun-related in your life?" Jason knew how strict Bruce was with kids, Bruce was kind, but often stopped his kids from having a childhood.
"Yes, training is fun,"
"Ok demon, you and me are going to play some video games," said Jason.
"Video games?" said Damian.
"Oh my god, don't tell me, Bruce doesn't let you have an X-box?"
"X-box?"
"Here let's play something on mine,"
Damian curiously watched Jason open up a cabinet with CDs.
"Here, close your eyes and pick one," said Jason.
"I don't need your childish activities to make me feel better," said Damian.
"Just shut up and pick one demon spawn," said Jason.
"Fine,"
He closed his eyes and his hands picked up a disk saying...
"Minecraft?"
"Oh my god, you picked like the geekiest game, but let's play demon," said Jason, popping in the disk.
Jason spent ten minutes teaching Damian all the controls. They began to start playing.
"Here you build a small little house while I'll get food and iron," said Jason.
"I don't take orders from you, Todd," said Damian.
"If you wanna survive the night, listen to me," said Jason.
"The night?"
"Yah that's when all the monsters come out to kill you, but you can kill them too with weapons," said Jason.
Damian smirked, he loved anything that had to do with killing monsters.
"Do they have swords in this foolish game Todd," said Damian.
"Duh"
Damian's smirk grew.
It was soon nighttime, Damian and Jason had swords.
"Let's go into the house Demon, all the monsters will come out," said Jason.
"No way Todd, let's fight," said Damian.
Jason just rolled his eyes. Damian started killing a lot of mobs, but was soon swamped with them. His screen said
You Died
"Ahhhhh, unacceptable!" said Damian throwing his controlling.
Jason just chuckled, watching Damian rage quit was hilarious.
"What are you laughing at Todd, your dead too,"
Jason immediately looked at his screen and he had died. Damian and Jason just both burst into laughter, together. It was a first.
"So what do you what do you wanna do Todd?" said Damian, yawning. He hadn't gotten a proper nights rest.
"Let's watch some TV,"
They both sat down on the couch. Damian eventually fell asleep. Jason gently put him on his lap. He smiled.
Despite their conflicts, Jason was Damian's brother. Plus, Damian was adorable when he slept. He looked so carefree and innocent.
Ahhh, what are you doing, you can't stand him!!
Yah but he's not so bad.
Jason then gently picked up Damian and carried him to his room. He tucked Damian in, just as he was about to close the door he whispered, "Sweet dreams demon."
