11. Back to the Bird's Nest

"Give me my son and this will be painless."
"Woah there, nobody's getting the little demon," said Jason, standing in front of Damian and shielding him.
"He's right Talia, you are not getting my son," said Batman, getting into a fighting stance.
"Beloved, I hoped that it wouldn't come to this," said Talia.
As she was running to fight Batman, a helicopter flew right above them and someone jumped out.

"Grandfather?"
"Ra's Al Ghul?"
"Father?"
"Seriously?"
"Show some respect Jason, I brought you back to life," said Ra's Al Ghul.
"Yah, whatever," murmured Red Hood.
"Why are you here father? I was about to take care of my son," said Talia, emotionlessly. Damian felt a sting of coldness in his chest. Even if they didn't care about him, Damian still loved both his mother and grandfather.
"The heir is of no importance, we have a solution," said Ra's Al Ghul.
"That's all I was to you? Just 'the heir'!" yelled Damian, he thought that his grandfather would care.
"Damian, you lost our love as soon as you decided to give up our legacy as an Al Ghul and instead join your father on his little 'crusade'," replied Ra's Al Ghul, coldly.
"As I was saying Talia, let us leave now," continued the Ra's.
"But father-"
"This is not up for debate."
"As you wish, father," replied Talia. They both jumped into the helicopter and flew away.

"What was that father!" yelled Talia.
"What do you mean, what was that?" questioned the Ra's.
"I would have killed Damian, you know. He doesn't need to be alive when we already have the clone ready," said Talia.
"I am not taking about this," said the Ra's. Little did Talia and Damian know that the mighty Ra's Al Ghul still cared for Damian. He knew that Talia would have killed Damian for betraying the league, but he didn't want Damian dead. He was still his grandson.

Back at the Rooftop
"You have a weird family demon spawn," said Jason.
Damian snorted.
"My 'weird family' brought you back from the dead Todd," said Damian.
"So Robin, are you coming home?" asked Batman, breaking the light-hearted mood. Damian looked around nervously.
"Um-well-um-I..."
Jason looked sadly at Damian. He knew that Damian wouldn't be able to stay with him forever, but still didn't want to him to leave. Jason would never admit it, but him and Damian had truly bonded and he loved the little devil. He was lost in his thoughts when he suddenly saw Damian run up to him and hug him.
"I don't wanna leave you Todd," whispered Damian. Jason hugged him back and whispered,"I don't want you to leave either demon."
Little did they know that Tim and Dick were on Batman's com and were listening to the whole thing.
"Bruce, put me on speaker," said Dick. Batman put him on speaker and said,"Nightwing wants to speak with you."
"Yes, hello-Is this thing working Tim.
Oh yah. Jason, if you really want to stay with Dami, why don't you just move into the manor with me and Tim and Alfred and Bruce."
Jason looked skeptically at Bruce.
"I'm not sure I was invited," said Jason.
"Jason, you were always invited. Your old room is still available," said Batman, smiling.
"Are you going to stay, Todd?" asked Damian. His eyes were filled with hope.
Jason secretly smiled.
"Why not?"
Batman and Robin both smiled. Dick was cheering through the com.
"Oh and by the way, Dick and Tim, if you tell anyone what me and the little demon said, I will hunt you down and murder you," said Jason.
"Likewise," said Damian.
Dick chucked nervously,"Oh you guys, my favorite brothers, always joking."
"That wasn't a joke, Grayson," said Damian.
"It was a death threat," continued Jason.
"Oh man, Timmy help meee," said Dick.
Batman chucked at his boys,
"Batman out."
Batman then cut the call.
"Let's go home, sons."

Don't worry, the book isn't over, but it's coming to a close. I'm thinking a couple more chapters and I already have a new really cool book planned.
