Viktor's POV
Their eyes went wide. "EH?!" they said, then they all went to Yuri's front and blocked him from my sight. Minako frowned. "Viktor. I appreciate you saving Yuri yesterday, but..." she said. "This is too far."
"Huh? Why?" I asked.
She sighed. "You seem not to know the danger of crossing the zones." She said. She explained to me the zones, the rules of the yellow zone and the red zone or slums. "You get it now?" she asked.
"Err..." I said, then looked at Yuri. "Sorry." I said, then sighed. As if I'm sorry! This is my chance to ask him what's happening coz he seemed to have an idea of what's going on -
"Uhm, Minako - sensei." Yuri said. They gave way to Yuri. "Thank you." He said and passed through them and went to Minako's side. "Uhm, sensei?" he said. "As you've said, Viktor saved me yesterday, right?" he asked.
"Yes." She said. everybody nodded.
Yuri smiled that reached his eyes. "Then I should help him!" he said.
"Ah! He's so bright!"
"My eyes!" they said, covering their eyes.
Minako sighed. "Yuri..." she said. "You know the danger of crossing the zone, right?" she asked. Yuri nodded. "Then why will you - "
"Sensei." He said. "There's still Mari - neechan, right?" he said.
"Eh?" she said. "EH?! Her?!" she said, shocked. She held Yuri's shoulders. "No, no, no, Yuri! Anyone but her - "
"Then..." he said. "I won't ask for her help, but you'll let me help Viktor." He said.
"Eh? Wait... there's something not right in what you've said - "
Shit. This is going nowhere. I thought. I looked at Yuri. I still don't know the reason of why he's going this far for me, but I must grab this chance! "Minako - san!" I said. they looked at me. "Please! I'm begging you! I need to go there to check my wife." I said. Shit. Just what did I just say?
"Wife?" they said.
I nodded. Goodness! I have to stand firm with this. "Yes! She's giving birth anytime this day, and I'm not on her side - "
"Yuri?" Minako said, looking at Yuri. "Yuri? Where are you going?" she asked. Yuri is going upstairs. "Yuri!" she called.
"Ah!" he said, as if woke up. "Ah, sensei." He said, then smiled. "I think I forgot something." He said.
"Eh? Sure?" she asked. Yuri nodded.
Eh? Yuri? Where are you going? I thought. They looked at me. "Then..." Minako said. "So, will this be your first born?" she asked.
"Huh? Oh yeah." And they continued to ask me about my fictional wife and baby.
I sighed when we finally got out. "At last..." I said.
"Yuri! Be careful!" they said and waved. We waved back.
"They love you that much?" I asked. "Just what are you to them?" I asked. He didn't answer. "Yuri?" I asked.
"Ah!" he said and ran. We're at the shopper's district. "Viktor, look!" he said and pointed a bouquet. "You have to bring a present for your wife, right?" he asked.
"Huh?" I asked, but he just smiled and bought the bouquet. "Ah, Yuri - !"
He then ran toward the fruit stand, then a toy store, and so on. "Whew!" he said, then wiped the sweat on his face. "Viktor, look! We've got so many presents for your wife - !"
