Chapter 17: Interview with Viktor.

Yuuri's POV

"Say." I said. "I've been wondering about this for a very long time, but... why can I talk to You?" I asked. "As you've said, every time I'm near death, I always get here, and got to talk to You. And then, You always help me. Like when I want to see Viktor again, and You granted my wish. And when I can't walk when I woke up, and You helped me..." I said, and looked at Him. "Why?" I asked.

A long time passed before he answered. "Yuri." He said. "Your spirit..." he said. "It's special." He said.

"Huh?" I said. "Aren't all people are?" I said.

"Yes. Everyone is special." He said. "But what I meant was your soul." He said.

"Oh..." I said. "So that's why I can call you and you can see me any time?" I asked.

"Well, that's what it's like." He said.

"Hmm..." I said.

Viktor's POV

It's been a week, and I still can't find Yuri. I sighed. "He's not here either." I said.

"I'm sorry, Viktor." Yuko said. I came to Ice Castle.

"It's okay." I said and waved at them good bye. "So even them don't know where's Yuri?" I sighed. "I can't go to their house, either. I can't bring myself to face them I don't want them to feel guilty that their son humiliated me..." I said. I bumped my head on the dashboard. "Yuri... you're making me crazy... just where are you - " my phone rang. "Ah. It's Chris." I said. "Yeah?" I asked.

"Are you driving now?" he asked.

"Huh? About to - "

"Good." he said. "Go to the hospital where we've been hospitalized since that accident." He said and hung up.

"Huh?" I said. Puzzled, I go there.

"Viktor!" Chris called and waved. Michele, Emil, Mila, Sara, Otabek and Yurio are with him.

"You're late, old man." Yurio said and clicked his tongue.

"Why are you all here?" I asked when I approached them.

"Huh? Chris, you haven't told him?" Mila asked.

"Told me what?" I asked.

They all looked at Chris. He sighed. "It's Yuri." He said.

My eyes went wide. "What? In here?" I asked and looked at the hospital. "Why would he be..." I gasped. "Is it because of his legs - "

"If it's just that, then he doesn't need to hide." Michele said. "Everyone knows that his legs were crushed when he had the accident." He said.

"What's your point - "

"There's other reason why Yuri is hiding from us." Otabek said.

"And that is?" I asked. They didn't answer. "What... you called me to come here, then won't tell me why Yuri - "

"Viktor." I turned and saw Yuri's best friend.

"You're - "

"Phichit." He said. I nodded. He sighed and looked at the hospital. "It would be better if you find out yourself why Yuri - " he didn't completed his sentence.

We all went inside. I'm just following them. "Hey, why are we - "

"Shh." They said. I shut up. Why are we going back to the floor where are rooms are when we got in an accident? They stopped outside the room. This is - "We're here." They said.
