Chris' POV

It was really not an easy task. Really. Just reliving what happened on that day... Yes. That day...

Flashback

We are all waiting for Viktor's call, when finally, it arrived. After a week.

"Chris?" I heard Viktor called.

I immediately stood up, surprised. "Viktor!" I exclaimed. "Why, you ... are you safe?" I asked.

He chuckled. This bastard... Here we are, so worried why he didn't picked up the communicator when the system has been repaired... And all we get from him is a laugh?! "Chris." Otabek said. "The speaker." he said.

"Oh, right." I said, then turned it to speaker. "Viktor, you bastard. What happened to you?!" I asked. He didn't answer. "Viktor.?"

"Oh. That." he said. We heard a breeze. "Say. Can I request for a backup?" he asked.

"Huh?" we all said, puzzled.

"Oi, Viktor. Didn't Morooka - san told you to confirm Japan's status first before - "

"It's done." Morooka - san said, entering the room while raising the papers.

"Morooka - san!" we all said. "We thought you died when we haven't seen you for a week - "

"Well, I've got some business to attend to with the outbounders." he said, referring to Mila, Sara, Emil and Michele. "And, technically, needless to say - " he sat down on his chair. "We're all dead, aren't we?" he said, his face serious, which is unlikely of him.

A moment of silence passed. It was Honda - san who broke the silence by clearing his throat. "Well, Viktor." he said. "It seems we could send backup to you now. How many should we - "

"All of you." Morooka - san said. We all looked at him, shocked. "That's how serious our situation is, gents." he said. "You'd better start packing now." he said, and dismissed us.

The night before we're going to be dispatched, the papers were distributed to us. We are shocked to see the papers.

"Morooka - san!" we called when we barged in to the assembly hall. It seemed like he had expected this to happen. "What's the meaning of this?!" we asked. "An imperfect utopia?!"

"Yes." he said.

"What?!" we all said. "But that's - "

"Morooka - san." Seung - gil said, calmly. "There's more to this, right? It's nit onlt Japan." e said. We all looked at him, surprised, then to Morooka - san, asking.

"You're so sharp." he said.

"No." Seung - gil said, grinning. "You're just obvious." he said.

Morooka - san laughed. "And you're saying they're oblivious ones?" he said and pointed us. Seung - gil just chuckled.

"Oi." Yurio said. "Stop the senseless chatter." he said and clicked his tongue.

"And you're just admitting we're oblivious?" Otabek said to Yurio.

"Well..." I said. "Aren't we?" they all looked at me.

Morooka - san sighed. "Look at this." he said and turned on the projector. We all gasped. It shows the map of the world. What's supposed to be all the countries that are green (indicating the utopia) except Japan that is red (indicating the dystopia), are now turning yellow (in between dystopia and utopia).

"What the..."

"Is this real?"

"Is this for real?!"
