"Bon bon bon bon bon bon," I kept repeating in time with each of Hermione's foot falls until she admitted to me it was Krum that asked her to the ball. "I only have about another thousand footsteps, Herms. Sure you don't want to admit it?"

As she kept on walking, so did I.

"Bon bon bon bon bon bon bon BON!" I yelled loudly as she stopped and stamped her foot in frustration.

"Okay, fine, yes. Viktor asked me to the ball." She said.

"I know that." I shrugged, hooking arms with her and continuing my way to the common room. "I want the details."

"He just sort of, asked me." She shrugged. "What about you and Niklaus?"

"He asked me. I said yes." I said, thinking back to the events of that afternoon.

"Something else happened though." She stated, knowing me too well.

I glanced at her out of the corner of my eye. "Okay, something else definitely may have happened."

"Calliope Riddle, you tell me this instant!" She said as we reached the portrait hole, dragging me to sit by the warm fire.

"Okay." I started nervously. When I reached the part of locking the door to the classroom Hermione's jaw dropped.

"You didn't!"

"Well, I did something." I muttered.

"What?" She demanded.

"I peeled the banana." I started unsurely. "And then tasted it."

"Excuse me?"

"Slobbed the knob, charmed the snake, played the pink clarinet, spit-shined the baseball bat!"

"Okay! I get it!" She said, covering her ears. "Is that all?"

I looked away from her sheepishly. "Well, he may have also had a low calorie snack."

"Callie!" I could tell she was embarrassed, as Hermione is a bit of a goody-goody. "How was it?"

To say her question surprised me was an understatement.

"I thought I died and was literally going to heaven." I gushed. "I have never felt better in my entire life. It took me a solid 15 minutes before I had enough strength in my legs to stand up."

She giggled, before her face turned serious. "What about Harry?"

I scoffed. "What about Harry?"

"Well, how do you feel about him compared to Niklaus?"

"I don't compare him and Niklaus." I shrugged. "I love Harry. He's one of my best friends. I enjoy Niklaus' company. He's fun and makes me happy."

"Okay." She said, raising her hands in surrender. "I just don't want you to lead him on."

I was about to reply when Ron was rushed into the room with Ginny and a few other girls, Harry trailing along with them.

"Ron! What happened? Are you okay?" I asked.

"He just asked Fleur Delacour out." Ginny explained.

"What?" Hermione exclaimed.

"What did she say?" I asked.

Hermione scoffed. "No, of course!"

Ron made a groaning noise, his head shaking slightly.

Hermione gasped, covering her mouth. "She said yes?"
