"Harry, Callie!" Hermione scolded. "You told me you figured your eggs out weeks ago. The task is in two days!"
"Really?" Harry snapped. "I had no idea. I suppose Viktor figured it out?"
"I wouldn't know, we didn't actually talk about the tournament. Actually we didn't really talk at all, Viktor's more of a physical being."
I waggled my eyebrows and whistled softly, causing Harry to laugh and Hermione to blush.
"I just mean he's not particularly loquacious. Mostly he watches me study. It's a bit annoying actually." She turned serious, facing us. "You are trying to figure this egg out aren't you?"
"What's that supposed to mean?" Harry asked.
"I mean these tasks are supposed to test you, in the most brutal way that's almost cruel. And um, I'm scared for you both. You got by the dragon mostly on nerve, I'm not sure it's going to be enough this time. If your broom had come a second too late, or Callie, if your dragon decided not to listen to you, you didn't even have a back up plan."
I frowned. "Your support is heart warming, Mione. Really."
She was about to reply when she was interrupted as Cedric called to us.
"Callie! Potter!"
I turned towards him with a smile. "Hey, Ced."
He turned to Harry, as he hasn't talked to him since before the first task. "How are you?"
Harry furrowed his eyebrows at the question. "Spectacular."
"Look I realise I never really thanked you properly for tipping me off about the dragons." He started.
Harry shrugged. "I know you'd do the same for us."
"Exactly." Cedric said, his voice growing quiet. "You know the prefects bathroom on the third floor?"
Harry and I glanced at each other before nodding.
"It's not a bad place for a bath. Just take your egg and mull things over in the hot water." He told us as he walked away.
"Bye, Herms." I yelled as I grabbed Harry's hand and dragged him back up to the castle to grab our eggs and change.
I ran up to my dorm, changing into my bikini and throwing my cloak on over me and grabbing my egg and towel. When I reached the common room, Harry was waiting for me.
"Shouldn't we do this alone?" He asked, nervously.
"Why?" I asked, confused.
"It's a bathtub." He deadpanned.
"A huge bathtub that's bigger than a swimming pool." I laughed. "Don't worry, I'm not going to try and seduce you. Can't say the same for Myrtle though."
