Sophie and her mom is at the mall having some mother and daughter bonding time when Sophie sees a huge poster. It’s everywhere actually. There’s a big green bunny, the mascot of an ice cream company and pictures of some artists. Beside the right side of the bunny’s arm, it says Ulrik Munther.
”Sophie! What are you doing there? Why did you stop?” Sophie’s mom says while walking back to her.
”I’m just reading this poster. Can we please go? It’ll be fun! Please?” Sophie says while doing her best puppy eyes face.
”Sure. After all we haven’t been to the amusement park for ages.”
”Yay!! I can’t wait!”
Walking away from the poster ”Now why are you so eager to go and see that show?” her mom asks.
”...uhm Amy Diamond will be there!” she said as if Amy was the real reason she wants to go.
”You’re not fooling me. It’s Ulrik right?” her mom says.
”Yes...” she giggles.
”I thought so...Hey why don’t you ask Anya to come with us?”
”She can’t. She’s not here. She’s at her grandma’s.”
”Oh! So Ella and Anya aren’t here...is it why you’re asking me to go with you?”
”That’s not the only reason! Ma...you see...” Sophie stopped and looks at her mom seriously. ”There’s sale over there!” she laughed pointing to a boutique.
They held hands and continued they’re mother and daughter time.
.....Two Weeks Later....
”Ulrik! Ulrik! Ulrik! Ulrik!!” the girls in the front row chanting and are excited to see their idol.
Sophie isn’t one of those front row girls. She sits somewhere in the middle of the audience with her mom. After months of wait there he is. Just a few meters away. Wearing his oh-so-famous hat. It’s pink this time. Violet printed shirt and a suit. ”Weird outfit. But who cares? He’s still so cute in it!” Sophie thought when Ulrik came out on stage.
The show was great. Afterwards, it’s time for some meet and greet. Waiting in the line, Sophie tries to not be pushed by these other girls that can push anything on their way to get to their goal. Finally it’s her turn to get some autograph and picture.
”Oh! It’s you! Hi! What’s your name?” Ulrik asks with a big smile on his face.
”Sophie!” she replies with a smile.
”So it’s Sophie. I remember you from last December. I wanted to ask your name but you left before I got the chance.”
”Really?” she asks with astonishment.
”Yeah...I thought you looked really familiar.” he says while writing his autograph. ”Did we meet before that?” he continues as he gives the paper to Sophie.
”That’s funny I thought the same when I saw you.” she says on her way to his side to take a picture with him.
Both of them smiles into the camera as Sophie’s mom takes a picture.
Ulrik was on his way to say something to Sophie when the guard said ”You gotta go ma'am. Lots of other people waiting in the line.”
And that’s where that second meeting ended. Sophie and her mom walk around the amusement park after. Sophie is all dreamy while walking.
”Hey miss day dreamer wake up!” her mom jokes.
”Huh?” Sophie said confused.
”Exactly”
”What?”
”Your mind is obviously not in this planet. What’s up?” her mom said ”That Ulrik boy was pretty good by the way. You were talking at the autograph signing. Wanna spill what it was all about? Ha?” she continued teasingly and curious at the same time.
”That’s what I’ve been thinking about since we left from there. He said I looked familiar to him when we first met. Remember last December?” Sophie tells.
”Ahuh!” her mom nods
”The weird thing is that I thought the same about him. I just can’t remember if we’ve met before that.”
”Hmmm...curious.”
”Yeah...really.”
That remained a mystery for both Ulrik and Sophie....
