School is out!...but it’s raining. It’s been three days since the summer vacation started and it seems like Mr. Sun is taking some vacation too. It’s just cloud, cold and wet. Not so great start for summer. That’s what most kids thought. Sophie on the other hand is all happy. Rain or shine she’ll be going.
It’s June 9. The mini concert is today. The clouds are dark and it looks like it’s going to rain. The three best friends didn’t care. They’re on a mission remember?
1 hour before the show starts the sun suddenly starts coming out. The girls are on their way to the amusement park. It’s half an hour left before the show starts when they came. Sophie was shocked on how many girl were there already. They’re all screaming already and Ulrik hasn’t came out yet. Sophie realizes that Ulrik has gotten more popular.
The three girls managed to find a place to stand at somewhere in the back.
Ulrik came on stage. The crowd went wild. He sang new songs. The ones Sophie used to only hear on videos from other mini concerts before. They were all great.
Afterwards people started lining up expecting to have an autograph signing. The line got too long and the guards cut it. Not everyone got the chance to meet him. Sophie wasn’t lucky this time.
The three of them walk out of the amusement park all disappointed.
”He’ll be playing in his hometown this Saturday.” Sophie said with a bright face. ”Should we try again?”
Ella and Anya just smiled.
